It's halfway through the school day, and you've already had enough.
Not that you'd rather go home - that would be just as worse. You couldn't stand being there either; parents constantly yelling at each other, each word infuriating the other more.
Just the thought of it made you sick, so you returned to focusing on the test that had to be finished in fifteen minutes. Searching each corner of your mind, you tried to remember how to find the answer, but to no avail.
Desperately, You looked over to the left, where no other than Park Jaehyung- one of your only friends- was sitting. You made eye contact, and a small, silent plea for help was made, only to be met by a shrug. He had no clue either.
Just great.
Sighing, you moves to the next question, knowing that one will just have to be unanswered.
"Ten minutes." The teacher announced.
Almost as soon as the teacher has finished his sentence, there was the noise of a chair being pushed out, and a student standing up. The only noise now where their footsteps as they walked to the front of the classroom to present their paper.
But, as they passed your desk, the mystery student seemed to pause, making you look up in curiosity. Unfortunately, as soon as she did, they'd begun walking again, so she was unable to see who it was.
You immediately brushed it off, they literally just paused - how could that have a reason behind it? For now, you had to concentrate on the test and get those last few questions finished and hopefully not completely fail the one class you were slightly decent at.
__________
What you didn't know, was that student was none other than Yoon Dowoon, and he'd planned on dropping a piece of paper onto the desk containing the answers you needed. He'd seen you struggling earlier, and thought it would be nice to help. Unfortunately, he chickened out at the last minute.
Wouldn't it be awkward to receive answers from someone you didn't even know? What if you got mad because you didn't want to cheat?
Of course, the fact he may have had a small, sad crush on you the year before (which may still be there) may also be a factor contributing to why he didn't. But of course, he was over that now.
He'd left the classroom that day feeling slightly guilty and pathetic that he hadn't even had the courage to drop a piece of paper on a desk.
Luckily for Dowoon, fate still had plans him and [name], in the form of a hellish assignment.
