So basically this book introduce us to a world that contains two realms;human realm and faerie realm.
This two realms are divided by an invisible wall.
When Feyre a human girl killed a wolf ,little did she knew that the wolf she killed was a fae.
after a couple of days a beast comes to Feyre's house and tell Feyre that he has to claim her life for the life she took so she could either accept her death or she could spend the rest of her life in Faeries realm.
So Feyre choose to spend the rest of her mortal life in the immortal realm full of creatures worst than the beast that could end her within a heartbeat,but during her time in the immortal realm Feyre finds out that there is some powerful force that had weaken even the strongest faeries there,what do you think will happen to her?can she escape the dangerous fae's realm or is she really dommed to stay there for the rest of her life?

this book contains scenes that describes the begginnings of sexual interaction,then implies intercourse between two unmarried characters.
