Severus Snape x Male!Reader

Let's start the year with a bang

"I can't wait to see the look on everyone's faces." (M/n) says as he braids flowers into the sides of his boyfriend's hair.
"Indeed." Severus replies. (M/n) was sitting on the couch in their shared chambers while Severus was sitting on the floor in front of him reading a potions book.
"I used light pink flowers too." (M/n) says tying the two braids together on the back of his head.
"Do you think we should tell everyone tonight?" (M/n) asks Severus. The two have been dating since midterm of last year and only the two knew. They haven't told anyone.
"If you are ready, then I am ready." He says setting the book down and standing up. (M/n) stands up as well.
"Alright, I'm going to go down to the Great Hall, I'll see you there." (M/n) says grabbing his poetry book and giving Severus a small kiss. Severus gives a small smile as he watches his love walk out the door.

(M/n) walks into the Great Hall smiling. Some students smile at him and some wave. (M/n) teaches DADA and is definitely one of the students favorites. (M/n)'a smiles brightens as he sits down in his spot at the end of the professor table. McGonagall  leans over from her seat.
"Where's Severus?" She asks gesturing to the empty chair between the two of them. The two of them usually come in together.
"He'll be here any moment." (M/n) says. (M/n) is getting a little anxious. He loves routine. It makes him feel safe and secure. When it gets messed up he could end up in a anxiety attack. It's happened once before and now Severus does his best to keep routine and (M/n) really appreciates it. Just then the Great Hall doors and Severus comes storming through cloak bellowing. It draws everyone's attention as always but what really gets everyone to shut up is the pink flowers in his hair. (M/n) smiles at him as the students and some teachers stare at him in disbelief. Severus sits down.
"Looking good today Severus." (M/n) says and Severus nods at him. (M/n) turns back to his poems. (M/n) doesn't eat the big meals in the Great Hall, he tends to snack throughout the day. He read it was healthier. (M/n) has been working really hard on being fit and healthy. After Severus was done eating the two walk out of the Great Hall.

(M/n) teaches his classes with extra happiness. He couldn't wait to see Severus during dinner. He had to admit  Severus did look amazing with the flowers in his hair. (M/n) was currently snacking on some cashews while the class took a small recap test. When the last class dismissed (M/n) jumped up and walked out of the classroom with a hop in his step. He did take his time to the Great Hall though. When he walked in the food was already set out and everyone was already eating, including Severus. Who's hair was falling in his face. (M/n) walks to his seat.
"What happened to your braids?" He asks.
"The kids wouldn't focus on their potions and only my hair so I took them out so they would work."
"Can I put some more in?"
"I don't mind in the least." Sever says and (M/n) jumps up causing some kids to look at him but he pays no attention to them as he pulls out some new flowers and starts on Severus's hair. McGonagall looks at him.
"So you were the one who put the braids in." She says.
"The one and only." (M/n) replies and looks up. He has all the kids attention so he leans down to whisper to Severus.
"How about we show everyone our secret?" He asks and Severus nods. (M/n) grips Severus's jaw tilting his head back and kiss his lips. He hears a few gasps and someone drop a fork and start coughing. (M/n) smiles into the kiss and Severus puts his hand on the one that's still on his jaw. The two pull apart and (M/n) finishes the braids. After they braids are tied Severus stands and the two walk out hand in hand leaving behind a room full of shocked students and a smiling Dumbledore.
