Trouvaille (n.)
"Something lovely discovered by chance."

Namjoon stood infront of the building that he was to shoot the first scene in. He had to enter it, enter a particular basement, find a necklace, wear it and faint, or atleast pretend to. After that the special effects team would change the scenery to show him changing dimension.

Namjoon kind of knew this act will take more than one take. Everything was easily done; accept fainting. Namjoon always had difficulty in pretending to be dead or in faint. Namjoon entered the mansion. It was night time and for added effect of thrill; smoke was filled in the room.

Namjoon proceeded slowly; taking his time admiring the location. That's why Namjoon never toured his locations from before; so that the wonder and curiosity was real rather then acted out. Namjoon took steps towards the stairs that were spread out grandly. Namjoon tilted his head to the side, he was supposed to say a line here.

"Why is the place so dusty? Does no one live here? It's a pity. This place is fit for being home of kings." Namjoon giggled for added effect of amazement.

Namjoon was a pro at this. No wonder the writer had chosen him for the act; thought the director. The director shouted a loud 'Cut'. He had to shift the camera up the stairs to show Namjoon climbing the stairs and then going into the room.

Namjoon took a huge gulp of the water his manager rushed towards him. As he finished drinking; his team of stylist surrounded him fixing every misperfection in his look. When the director shouted 'Ready' they quickly took off towards the side. Namjoon took a deep breath and just as the 'Action' was shouted, his facial features changed into one of wonder as his footsteps echoed in the mansion.

He took his time walking up the stairs. He had to look like a king going up; atleast that was what the script said. He put his hand on the railing and dragged himself up. The atmosphere in the mansion changing with his every step. A loud bang occurred; catching Namjoon off guard. It was in the script; but Namjoon was still surprised. He jumped in his position and it seemed that his reaction satisfied the director as he didn't scream a 'Retake'.

Namjoon had at this point reached the top of the stairs and went to investigate the source of noise, which was, Ofcourse, the mysterious room. Namjoon stopped infront of the room, and put his hand on the door knob.

The director said a loud 'Cut' and Namjoon released a breath he didn't know he had been holding. The camera position was fixed, and from the bottom of the stairs his stylist screamed for him to moist his lips. He chuckled; in the matter of moments the mansion had turned from the queitest place on Earth to a freaking fish market.

As he applied the lip balm, he saw from the corner of his eyes the team rushing. The next scene was supposed to be filmed from the front of the room as he entered and from the balcony outside. This would also take two takes, Namjoon sulked to himself. Couldn't just one take be enough to film the whole thing?

The countdown started again, and Namjoon fixed his composure. 'Action' was echoed in the mansion which was now again pin drop silent. Namjoon opened the door and looked around; aware of the camera filming his every move. He looked around frantically searching for the noise. He saw a vase fallen near the cupboard that he was going to open.

He tilted his head to the side and approached the case slowly, to add the effect of thrill. Just as he approached the vase and kneeled down to pick it up, a 'Cut' resounded in the air. Namjoon blinked and saw the director and the camera that was on his face had disappeared.

He looked to the other side of the room towards the balcony and saw the camera and director being lifted in the crane. He was still in his kneeling position when a loud 'Camera, Action' was heard. The noise had faded during the countdown again.

Namjoon picked up the vase and slowly examined it. A note fell off from cupboard just as he picked up the blood-colored vase with faded and withered roses. He looked at the note fallen on his lap. Slowly, he put down the vase and picked up the note from his lap.

A peach colored and dusty paper was in his hands. He felt the camera switch to the one that was directly back of his head. The assistant director was the one managing that one. He tilted his head to the side, knowing the camera had switched again to show his facial features.

He opened the note slowly. Something was written on it, and he fixed his head position so that the camera could show it.

얼마나 기다려야 또 몇 밤을 더새워야 ,
널보게 될 까? 만나게 될 까?

지구 반대편까지 가 겨울을 끝내고파......

이렇 게 기다리고 있 잖아 ......

Perhaps it was something about the words, or something about the way it was written, but Namjoon couldn't help but tearing up. He also wanted someone to say that to him. He kept the tears in though; he had to be acting confused, so that was what he did. One thing good about being an actor, you are in control of what you show to the world.

Namjoon got up from his position, and opened the cupboard to keep the note in it. What he saw startled him, atleast he pretended it did; he had to act surprised when he sees the chest according to the script.

A light erupted in the room; a light from the chest. Namjoon was surprised and taken aback. The special effects team had done an amazing job to make it seem real. Even he was fooled. On the other side though, the director was confused as to the origin of the light. Even the chest wasn't the same prop they had prepared. He wanted to stop the shoot but he knew Namjoon was deep into his character and he might not get such realistic acting from the boy again, so he continued without worrying about it too much.

Namjoon slowly opened the chest; the bright light hurting his eyes. He blinked and instictly put his hands on his eyes. Why were the special effects so realistic, even to him?

He opened his eyes slowly ; seeing the light fade into a dull shine. The chest had only a ring. Namjoon was confused, the script said a necklace, not a ring. But he went with the flow, it wasn't new that last minute changes were made in a production.

He picked the ring up and examined it. It was nothing special, just a simple black color ring with grey smoke type shapes on it. He smiled lightly and put it on his left index finger.

He smiled when he saw it was a perfect fit. Suddenly pain shot through his finger and his smile turned into a frown. The ring was emitting a light, a strange orange-ish light. His hands were burning, his body on fire. He looked around, but could see any but shadows. Namjoon wasn't moving, but his surroundings were. And they were moving so fast that he couldn't even focus on anything. His head started hurting, and the only thing he could think of before blacking out was:

"Oh and by the way Namjoon, See you on the other side. "

And although these words were going through his brain; he could also hear other words.

"Namjoon-ah stay with me, please. Hyung, hyung, Namjoon-ah is bleeding. Hyung Come fast. Namjoon, Namjoon-ah......"
