Life is a gift that is given to the tiniest percentage of possibilities of a person. Yet those lucky enough to be granted it barely ever appreciate the huge chance that they did not come to be.
To the average muggle this would be gibberish, to any wizard this would be gibberish. Few are possessed with the ability to comprehend the idea of the chance of life. I am fortunate (or unfortunate depends how you think of it) enough to have the first hand experience which has taught me that we cannot all live past 20, we can not all live past 15 or 11 or 5.
