" ouch! " I said as I felt something hard hit me on the head. I looked up and saw my nephew looking at me with a wide smile.
" wake up sleepyhead!! It's my birthday today and that means you're buying me a present!! " I couldn't comprehend what was going on cause I was half asleep and couldn't open my eyes cause of the bright sunlight shining from my window that I left open.
" seriously? have you forgotten what day it is today? " he scoffed. " yes I know what day it is and yes I will buy you a present but please just close the window and get out " I groaned.
" fine but you better not turn down on me " he said as he closed the window and walked out. I got up and went to the bathroom and washed up and went to basement where I hid the present I was giving him.
I was going to give 3 baby golden fishes in a not too big or not too small aquarium that had lots of colorful rocks and flowers. I felt good cause I didn't need to worry about giving a bad gift and had a good gift right in time but deep down I felt guilty since I didn't buy it but stole it from a pet shop near my apartment complex.
My nephew has always had a thing for pets, it was the only thing that made him happy since he didn't have any friends. He would always get made fun of for always being alone even though he's an amazing, kind and goofy kid. He's mostly stubborn to people he doesn't like but I don't blame him for it since I used to be like that.
