According to document 1, the Ancient Egyptians had pyramids, temples, and other important monuments. The temples and monuments were located in the “Valley of the Kings.” Many of the major pyramids were located in Giza.
The Ancient Egyptians had many accomplishments. They came up with a form of writing called hieroglyphics. Hieroglyphics was made up of other pictures and symbols. Hieroglyphs were another way they wrote. Hieroglyphs were a formal way of writing and they only wrote this way on scripts and other important documents. According to document 2, the Egyptians also created an early form of paper called papyrus. This papyrus was used as a tool to write books and other information. In ancient Egyptian time they had libraries, but the books they had were made out of the papyrus. These books were kept in jars with its subject name written on the side of the jar. Egyptians came up with a way of making ink. They would mix soot and vegetable gum with water. With this ink they wrote on the papyrus with a pointed reed. These are some of the many accomplishments made by the Egyptians.
