Philosophy has a stigma associated with it. The idea that you must be great mind to be a philospher comes from the nature of philosophy. The philosphers most noted are regarded as great minds, because people agree with their thoughts. However their thoughts were agreed upon by the simple public masses, whom at the peak of philosophy were less than intelligent. The well regarded philosophers, plato and aristotle, Renea discartes and John Locke, mearly put a logic series of words to express the thoughts of many to a certain topic, and ultimately that is what makes the difference between a noteworthy and insignificant philosopher, is a weather their thoughts are relatable, so logically an average mind is better suited to philosphy.
