"How was your exam?"

"Needless to ask, straight A, obviously," Jason Forbes answered cockily. his grades weren't his greatest source of pride. His intelligence was, he loved the sensation he got when he outsmarts people.

"Jason! Drop that book. Dinner is ready!"

Jason's mom, Jacqueline, stepped out of the kitchen waving a wooden spoon.

"Mom! Just one more chapter," Jason hissed. Although this was the greatest lie he has ever told himself he obeyed his mom this time. Lately, a social need woke on him. Jason's popularity range went up unexpectedly the moment he befriended the people he hatred the most. How did he managed it? Apparently popular girls love gay boys. Then he knew, almost every girl wants a gay best friend. But even then he felt awkward talking about boys or girly stuff, which personally, he didn't care about. Yeah, he is gay, but he's still a boy, ergo, he didn't; he doesn't and he will never give a fuck about makeup or thongs.

He took off the couch and sat besides her mother on the dinning table.

"Are dad and Rachel supposed to get here this week?" Jason asked.

Andrew and Rachel had gone traveling on business but it was obvious to Jason Rachel was the favorite child and the worst of it, she was the favorite child of the wealthy parent. Although his father's business weren't of Jason's interest, he knew he made good money. His house was the tell of it. Elegant, but mostly, big. Five floors with a variety of rooms like a library, a pool and even a chapel. Jacqueline had stopped going with Andrew on his business trips because he decided it was time to taught one of his children the family business. And who it was? Oh, shocker, it was Rachel.

"I don't know, Jason, please eat your dinner,"

He ate his dinner easily, enjoying every spoonful of tomato soup. Dinner was fine, the atmosphere was the problem. Every time Jason brings up his father and his sister, Jacqueline's joy seem to drop. Sometimes he thought his mother was jealous of Rachel, as if she were a mistress. Guess the mental issues are from mom's part of the family,

Jason didn't know how many time would he resist to see his mother before breaking.

"Um, mom? Can I go out with-, Billie and Ali?"

To the sight of the slightest nod, Jason walked away from the table and dialed Ali's number on his phone.

"Ali, are you free?"

"This is America, idiot, I'm always free," Bitch...

"Can we go out? Maybe call Bill,"

"Sure, I'll call her. See you at the mall in 10."

Jason walked to the mall, it wasn't worth the gas he would spend driving there. He took some money out of his father's drawer and saved it in his pocket. He won't notice. Just in case he saw something pretty to buy.

He arrived and met Billie and Ali at Starbucks. They were both giggly and obviously exited about something.

"OMG, Jase you're not going to believe this!"

"What is it?"

Bill sits him down besides her and whispers in his ear.

"We got you a BOYFRIEND!" she screamed the last word in Jason's ear.

"What the fuck, Bill?"

"Please don't do that straight boy charade, it does not fit you," Ali said sipping her coffee.

"Anyhow, what do you mean?"

"See that super hot guy over there?" Ali pointed at a boy, probably a year or two older than Jason, out in the garden tables "well, Bill went talk to him and when she come back she told me to come with him and we started talking and it wasn't difficult to see he is gay as hell! We set you up with him,"

"Why the fuck would you do that? I'm pretty capable of getting a hook up of my own and-,'

No he wasn't. In fact, he sucked at relationships, any kind of them. He had a hard time even with friendships.

"Come on, just go talk to him, please?"

"Go! His name is Nathaniel and he is super hot. Probably an issue or two but I'm pretty sure you'll learn to cope with it,"

"Just go talk to him," the both said in unison.

Unwillingly, Jase walked to the crystal doors and shivered before stepping out.
