Jungkook exhaled his breath and sent a cold cutting glare to Namjoon. His lips were madly pursed together.
"Go. You're not coming with us." Jungkook stared right into Namjoon's eyes. His tone had been flat and unhesititant. His nails pierced his flesh. The older's eyes widened and flashed with hurt. His mouth parted open from shock.
Jimin lifted his head up from the ground and slowly removed his hands over his ears. He was still crouched on the ground, legs almost shaking because of the weakness of them. Yoongi paused as well. His previous anger slowly faded away. Instead of being mad, his eyes slowly turned wider instead, almost as if he couldn't believe what Jungkook had just said although he partly caused this.
"Jungkook- " Namjoon started to beg.
"Just fucking leave, Namjoon!" Jungkook's harsh words echoed the field. Everyone flinched at the tone. "Who knows what else you're lying on! Do we even have ten hours left? Was all you said just bullshit!" Jungkook cursed. His chest heaved up and down as his fingers continued to clench and unclench. He had never been so angry. He has never felt so used and tricked in his entire life. And based on where he was, that hit an extreme low for Jungkook.
Namjoon exhaled an uneasy breath. He blinked a couple of times. He was ready to defend himself again until he decided to save it. It wasn't worth it.
"Fine." He whispered.
"You guys are going to regret your choice. I don't even need you guys. I could escape on my own." Namjoon's eyes pierced at each male. The grip of his journal showed how much anger he felt for being betrayed. The hurt in his eyes remained as well. "I hope I never see any of you again." He muttered before he began to walk away.
"Well I hope your wish comes true." Yoongi weakly yelled back. He couldn't get anything more than that though. His chest felt tight and he felt sick.
"Come on, Jungkook. We're wasting time." Hoseok began to pull the maknae's arm. The older didn't make any sort of eye contact with Namjoon. Hoseok only bit his lip and stared at the floor. Yoongi did as well.
Jungkook was still glaring at the older before he let himself be pulled away by the group. Hoseok led him down the field and didn't turn back. Seokjin, Jimin, and Taehyung did though.
Seokjin stared at the younger with devastating eyes. He knew Namjoon and he knew the younger wouldn't betray them, right? But he also thought of that for the other members and their captors had confirmed someone was going against them. Seokjin sighed defeatdely. He turned his head back and walked forward.
