👑3: Chocolate, teddy bears and flowers

First period was Math. First period on the first fucking day. MATH.

I get it, life. You hate me. You don't have to be more obvious.

Guess who's my math teacher? Mr. Perkins! You know, the teacher who hates everything and is angry about everything? The one who is a human grumpy cat meme? Yeah that guy. You can give the man a Giorgio Armani suit and he'd say it's the ugliest thing he had ever seen.

I don't blame him for the attitude. If I have to constantly look for the 'x' and not move on, I'd be grumpy too.

Somehow, I survived through the first period.

I know, it was a miracle.

I deserved an award.

I went to my locker and suprise suprise, there were chocolate, teddy bears and flowers stacked around it.

Don't forget the cards.

I'm keeping one box of chocolate and the rest of the gifts I'm giving them to the kids at the orphanage. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school, I visit them. It started ever since I was 10. I was a spoiled brat and kept nagging my mom to buy me a giant dollhouse even though I did nothing to achieve it. Then, she took me to the orphanage and explained how there were kids who were less fortunate than I. It broke my heart to see them like that and from that day on, I put visiting them on my schedule. They are all like little siblings to me.

As for the cards, I would give them to the kids to do arts and crafts with but the content was a bit too inappropriate so I just put them in a box, take them out every sleepover with Jess and Livi qnd read them for a good laugh.

- This one is Jess's personal favourite. She liked this so much that she said it aloud to a cute guy during English class. Luckily, Mrs. Appleton was asleep (as usual).

- OK THAT'S ENOUGH YOU GET THE IDEA.

That afternoon, I visited the orphanage. The kids loved the chocolate and teddies and some girls were trying to braid their hair with the flowers like that one scene in Tangled. Urrghhh they're too cute.

Martha is one of the children caretaker there. She's a lovely old lady with a tall yet skinny frame and tons of stories to tell the kids.

"Thank you for doing this, Chloe" Martha said "We are very grateful and the children absolutely adore you"

"Oh Martha, I keep telling you - it's no big deal. I like doing this" I replied. I really meant what I said.

"You're such a sweet young lady! Your friends at school must love you!" she laughed

"I wish" I sighed heavily. Just then, Zoey - a five year old girl hugged me tightly.

"Well, who cares what they think? We love you Chloe" her eyes sparkled.

God these kids are so adorable.
