Setting: Konoha World (If Neji hadn't died)

Time: Shortly after their marriage

It was a moderately normal day in Konoha, slightly chilly causing everyone to be on edge. Snippets of an argument echoed from Tenten and Neji's wing of the compound, leaving the remaining Hyuga members to take refuge in their rooms.

"You always think you're right. Maybe if you were more understanding, you'd listen to what I have to say!"

"Well, it's not my fault that you're more unattentive and careless than I am!"

The clan head was in the middle of meditating in his room, only to be interrupted by a forceful volley of insults. After quickly losing his temper, he sent his younger daughter to calm them, or at least tape their mouths shut.

Hanabi stalked through the hallways to the far side of the compound, passing annoyed Hyugas and stopping to acknowledge her sister who had been sent out to buy a bulk of earplugs.

"It's always been like this: you think you're so much better than everyone else around you!"

Neji and Tenten were evenly spaced across the room, glaring at each other menacingly.

They were interrupted by a short knock, accompanied by an awkward silence. Neji took the initiative to open the door, being met by his younger cousin clutching a roll of duct tape.

"Nii-san, I'm here bringing a message from the entire clan, sent by father." She said formally, passing them a letter.

Neji opened the envelope and unfolded a letter that held a shaky WILL YOU SHUT UP ALREADY, signaling that the clan leader was very close to chucking them both out of a window.

"What are you guys arguing about anyways," questioned Hanabi curiously.

Neji deadpanned, as Tenten rolled her eyes, "This bastard thinks we should buy his shampoo, over mine. Except I don't see any reason why I should listen to him." She huffed.

"Well it's not my problem you use cheap shampoo, it practically rips apart your hair!" Neji cut in.

"Well, it's not my fault that you use an overpriced shampoo that has no purpose other than cheating you out of your money." She shot back.

Hanabi backed out of the room, sending a note back to Hiashi that any attempts were futile.

A few hours later, the compound grew a peaceful silence, putting everyone out of their misery. Hanabi and Hiashi peeked through their door, only to be met with a peaceful sight: Neji and Tenten both wrapped up in each other, asleep on the couch. Neji's arm was wrapped around her waist and his hair was scattered around the back of the couch.
