Story 3:Stranger danger

Eymards pov.

"Bye Alex." I said as she walked out the door. I was the enchanter, or the sorcerer if you will, Alex trusts me with her enchantments. So did the rest of our kingdom, the obsidian kingdom, sidian does rules and she did ask us if we wanted to, we said no. By we, I meant me, Zack, and Alex. Sidian only gave permission to start a kingdom to people who are well known. But, favouritism is one of Sidian's better, but worser qualities. I'm making up words now to describe her, great. She is also getting quite, insane. Last time I saw her, she said something about a fourth wall... She said its a phase, it will pass, she said that about her puns too. Oh well, you get what you get and you don't get upset. I turned around to see a cool guy standing behind me, Seto. He owned a kingdom of his own, the sorcerers kingdom. He has had it for ten years. I visited him a few times to learn some enchanting, but that was it. He could only do enchanting, he wasn't modded in any way. Modded, strange word... It could be a good name to give the people who had personal mods so, just the four of us.

My thoughts were interrupted by Seto, "How's enchanting going?"

"Good, I'm the kingdom's enchanter." I said proudly, "But they still come to your kingdom for swords like obsidian swords or, lapis swords, I can't enchant those yet..."

"Don't worry, I'll teach you, if I die, no, when I die, I need you to teach other enchanters my work."

"I'm not that much younger..."

"But you are younger none the less."

He was right, I could somehow carry on his work, not for much longer, but I still could.

So for that day, he taught me the important things I needed to know to enchant. I learned some new stuff, some old stuff, and created some new ways as well.

By the end of the day, Seto went home by horse, he had the closest kingdom to our kingdom so he comes and goes. But it was getting dark, and the night was dangerous. He did live in the next kingdom over but, there is neutral territory in between each kingdom.

"Stay" I yelled before he left, "it's getting dark, it's better to stay the night, Sidian could find you an empty house." He turned to me, I could see him considering this.

"Okay, but only for the night, I must leave to my kingdom tomorrow." And I led him through our beautiful city, or, kingdom I should say. Soon, we saw sidian. She was unlocking her door, and she looked pissed.

"One simple job..." I heard her say, "I give her a simple job, and she kills herself, or maybe not, she can be an idiot, and he would never let her do that, too shy."

"Who what?" I asked and she looked at me, I don't think she could find her button, "Who is this amazing girl who can't complete a simple task?"

"No one!" She said quickly as she found he button in her small blue black pouch, "just another worker slacking off..."

I didn't believe this was just another worker. But, I went with it.

"Where is Alex? She was getting her pickaxe enchanted with un breaking and another with silk touch, why would she need that?" I knew the answer though, Alex must have been the worker, with some guy, and they must have gone mining but never returned.

"Just mining..." I could tell she knew she said something wrong, so I didn't push any further, "Seto here, needs a place to sleep, any empty rooms? Or houses?"

"I'm sorry Seto, you couldn't have come at a worst time, there was a zombie hoard at a nearby village, we took in way too many people who were hurt or needed a place to stay and now we have no empty homes."

"That's okay," Seto said, "I can just ride back, if I go now, I should be okay for the first part of the night."

"NO!" I yelled,getting stare from several people walking by, "I mean, I think a room just opened up at Sidian's house... Maybe she can-"
