It was a rainy afternoon when Lisa met Jennie. The girl who she didn't know would change her entire life.

It was raining and Lisa wanted a hot chocolate from her favorite café she usually visits at. She entered the place and brushed the droplets of water off her clothes, hissing and cursing the rain. She never really liked rain. She thinks that rains are nuisance. The puddle of water forming because of it and how it wets her socks or how when the wind blows hard, the droplets of rain comes along too. She never really liked it.

She ordered her usual hot chocolate drink along with a slice of chocolate cake and went towards her usual table only to find it occupied by a sniffing girl, probably crying by how her shoulders shake.

Lisa looked around to see if there's anymore empty tables but luck wasn't on her side because the café's full. So without any other choice, she approached the crying girl and tapped onto the table softly. "Hey.."

The girl looked up, bloodshot cat like eyes meeting Lisa's and for a moment, she felt like her world stopped. Lisa felt heat rush up to hear cheeks, this woman is gorgeous, she thought to herself. Clearing her throat, Lisa pressed her lips together and flashed a polite smile (which came off awkward since she's still taken aback by the girl's beauty even though her eyes are swollen from crying).

"Can I sit here?"

The girl only nodded and looked down once again and Lisa carefully sat across the girl. For the past few minutes, all she did is drink her hot chocolate or eat her cake while the girl infront of her cries. Sometimes she'll see the woman trying to stop her tears, sometimes she wipes it but mostly she just let it roll down her cheek freely. Lisa doesn't know why but her heart ached at the sight. Biting her bottom lip, she cleared her throat as she slid her handkerchief towards the girl while Lisa's eyes are outside, watching the rain fall again. "Take this. It's clean don't worry.."

She can see the girl hesitate so she slid it more. "Please? It makes me feel bad that I cannot do anything to stop those tears, beautiful.." Lisa insisted, ignoring the fact that the word 'beautiful' slipped from her tongue but seeing how the crying girl's cheeks flashed a bright shade of red and a shy smile made Lisa smile as well.

"I'm Lisa"

"J-jennie.."

Lisa found out then that when she first met Jennie, the girl just got out from a relationship. Jennie's girlfriend broke up with her because she needed to go to another country and Long Distance Relationship is hard to maintain so, they both chose to end their relationship.

Lisa and Jennie then ended up being friends. Lisa frequently visits the café after her encounter with Jennie, she'd find Jennie cying at the same spot at the same time and there she'd always try her best to comfort her. Through the course of time, she can see how Jennie got better. She saw how much she improved. How she smiles often, mostly because Lisa throws silly jokes or make dorky actions. As well as how Jennie's aura got better. She seemed brighter then.

It's raining once again and the closed their umbrella while laughing, drying themselves before they enter the café.

"I really thought you're drooling!" Lisa said while wiping the tears off her eyes because of laughing too much. Jennie giggled and pinched Lisa's side.

"Stop assuming too much!" The two then went inside the café and ordered before going to their usual seat. The rain's still pouring hard outside.

"Here's your orders!" Lisa looked up and met the flirty gaze of the waitress who purposely leaned more towards Lisa, smiling sweetly at the girl. The oblivious Lisa smiled back, thinking it was a friendly gesture.
