2 YEARS LATER

3rd Year

⠀⠀⠀ ⠀"Jamey, it's not the end of the world to get yourself dirty." Thalia stuck out her tongue.

The lot had found themselves in the greenhouse for their Herbology course, and James and Sirius were whining like the school girls they truly were.

"Would Lily truly fall for a person who can't work?" Thalia teased him of his blossoming crush of the smart Gryffindor.

"Of course I can work," James seized his whispering (talking in an inside voice) with Sirius to report back to Thalia.

"Tally, I'm so hurt by your words." James pouted. "Hurt, right here," he placed his hand over the right part of his chest.

"However," Thalia moved his hand to his left side, "it's here. And medically it's in the middle. So, in conclusion, you have no heart, Mr. Potter."

"Miss Bright! Have something interesting for the rest of the class?"

Thalia blushed profusely at the sudden amount of attention she had received, shaking her head and cowering slightly where she stood.

James could only look at her with a faint adoration, but he would only glance at her with the appreciation of a sister as of now.

Remus quickly glanced at Thalia, "Lia, mustn't look now but a certain bloke is looking fondly at you."

Thalia quickly swiped at Remus, her cheeks a light shade of red from the sunrise color she had seen from a window somewhere.

"Shush it you, I've already got noticed once."

Remus only chuckled under his breath, the group knew that the two were siblings figuratively. Remus was still taller at their current age, but Thalia wasn't too far behind, with the added bonus of being taller than Peter.

Sirius kept plucking the dirt under his nails as they exited the greenhouse, complaining that no girl likes a man with an easy to fix flaw.

A man, Thalia rolled her eyes at this. Sirius Black was far from this, but she would never tell the childish bloke so.

"Look, a yonder," Thalia pointed, "Lily Evans has graced us with her presence."

James was quick to adjust his glasses, something Thalia found lovable, and was off to spout a few memorized lines.

Thalia looked at Evans fondly, she looked up to her in an academic way (almost like Remus), and she couldn't help but put herself down at the comparisons.
