"It's a Friday night, it's a small town girl, everything is right..." Billy Currington's song blasted from Jane's car speakers. And we sang along, not as perfect as he did but loudly, alive, and free.
Tyler drove the Jeep roughly fast down the rugged dirt road, as Jane occupied the passenger's seat throwing her hands up, singing at the top of her lungs.
I was stuck in the back, with Jared and Michael. They rough housed in the car, pretty darn annoying if you'd asked me. I just laid back, took a sip of my beer as I, along with Jane and Tyler, sang at the top of my lungs.
As the song ended Michael hollers at the top of his lungs 'give it up for the twenties'. We all join in yelling and cheering. This was life.
I laugh back to when I thought teenage years were the best, I had no clue to what my twenties would be like.
Full of freedom.
Full of life.
And lastly, full of myself.
Living in the country had it's perks such as being able to race in an empty lot or throw a party without any problems
