'Kay. The first day of this job. All I need to do is wait till someone walks in, run down to shut the door and lock it from the outside, run back and tell them that the only way to leave is to write the name of a real person on the piece of scrap paper on the table. Can't be too bad.' I look into the room and its empty, good. I lean back in the chair and look at the ceiling. I close my eyes and take a deep sigh, then open them to laughter. I sit up fast and see people in the room. I begin to panic, 'H-How many are in there..!? One, two... Five... N-Nine, ten... T-Twelve..!? The boss is gonna have my head.' With that thought running wild through my head, I fix my platinum pony-tail and run to shut the door.

When I get to the door, I see 3 new faces. 'What the hell!? Where are they coming from..?!' I slam the door shut and lock it tight, then run back to my post. Tripped 3 times due to my nerves but I made it and I can see that their attention has shifted to the door. I grab the paper that is next to the microphone and take a deep breath, 'demon voice, demon voice...'

"Greetings! Welcome, to The Room. In here, you must complete a task to leave." I smirk as they look around terrified, "There are three rules to The Room. One, once you've entered said room, the only way to exit is to write the name of a real person-"

"Oh! That's easy!" The jock picks up the pen and writes the name, Mabel Colon. The girl who was standing over his shoulder hooked on his arm, has her neck slashed and blood is sprayed all over the table and jock and whoever else was nearby. I smile at the screams, "But once you've written the name, the owner dies instantly. Poor chap, you should've let me finish, but since you've written a name, you may leave." The lad books it out of the room.

I clear my throat, "Two, you can only write one name. And three, no writing your own name." I hear a grumbled, "Dammit.." and see a woman in her early twenties with old-school scene hair step up to the table. Demi-Lee May. Interesting name, then I look in the corner and see a more preppy young lady sitting there with a cigarette hanging from her mouth. I look back at the notepad and see 3 more names, Hugo Cassidy, Kourtney Chang, and Adina Peck. I look back at the room and see the body of who I can only guess to me is that the man lying face down in a pool of blood is Hugo. I glance about the room at the seven remaining people. They all look lost in thought or they're just that terrified.

"You know you guys can use your phones, right?" They all instantly pull out their phones, except one. I look at the teen and he pulls out a little calendar from his backpack. I stifle a chuckle as he flips through the pages and gets up after stopping at one. Leanne Owens. Then the other blonde who appears casual starts to suffocate till her eyes pop. The final five stand and make their way to the table. Myla Gough, Nigel Rivera, Hadi Mansell, and Nicola Kidd. I hear a thud and witness a woman having a heart attack. I lay back in my chair and check the time, 17:02. 'Just gotta wait a half hour till the next shift comes in..'

I take down my pony-tail and let my back length snow hair fall behind the chair. I realize the door is still locked so I walk down and open it and step inside. Five corpses lay littered along the floor and I push the cleaner button next to the door. I face the door and come face to face with a young lady. Chocolate skin, red curls that poof out in an Afro, black eyes that stare deep into mine, a fit body that's walking t-towards me!?... Wait, she walked through me... I forgot about the demon thing... Humans can't see us, but we can see them. I regain my posture and close the door as I did before and before I locked it, I could hear the next shift over the speaker. Finally, I can go home...
