I knew I was going to be treated a bit different because I was modelling for a magazine.
It's not because I was chosen, my dads best friend runs it and that's the ONLY reason I was featured in it.
When I got out of his car, some of the girls and the cheerleaders gave me death stares, while most of the guys kept looking at me with sheepish smiles.
So much for blending in.
Dylan just disappeared with his friends, and then Brandon and Kayla showed up.
They were yelling at me and asking why I didn't tell them about the magazine shoot and that I looked hot as fuck.
I said it wasn't a big deal and I wasn't even chosen or anything like that.
I put my books in my locker and walked towards class with Kayla who couldn't stop laughing at everyone who was looking at me.
I ran to class, and thankfully wasn't late, I would seriously die if I'd gotten more attention. I sat at my usual seat and started talking to Brandon.
I knew Dylan was in this class, because unfortunately we had most classes together.
As he entered the room, his eyes met mine and he was just reading my expression for what seemed like forever.
He took his usual seat behind me, when our teacher Mr. Grey walked in.
Dylan leaned close and said, ''you're welcome for today, if I hadn't come and saved you, God knows what would have happened.'' To this I replied by saying ''I walk to school everyday, this is the first time you're noticing, and I can take care of myself.'' He frowned when he heard what I said and had a sad expression on his face.
Our teacher turned towards us and said we have detention after school for talking too much. Dylan just laughed sheepishly when I turned to him and said I would end his existence if he got my in trouble ever again.
