Edge of the Waterfront

Introduction

Peneden Key, a beautiful beach, with a lovely town, and lovely people living in it. The beach was crystal clear for miles, many coral reefs, big waves that you could really surf on, many tourists boats, a lot of wildlife, and many hide away areas.

As you rode through the town of Peneden, you were surrounded by many shops, restaurants, and many colorful houses, even certain"hotspots" that the teens always spent their weekends, one in particular was a small cafe/ surf shop called Al's.

Past a forest of crowed palm trees, and uncut grass, was Peneden High. It sat up on one of Peneden's highest points, making the students who were enrolled there look out their classroom window and see the beautiful ocean for miles.

Now our story starts at the lives of 4 young high school students with dreams, but before I start the story, I must first tell you the background of these main characters in the story.

Sydney Myers, a very beautiful girl, who was just 18 years old, was one of the many at Peneden High. What made her so beautiful in the eyes of the public was her silky brown hair, that fell just perfectly below her chest. Her eyebrows were bold but neatly perfect, and her eyes were the color of ice, but they still had a tint of blue in them.

She was very fare and pale skinned for a girl who lived at the beach, but that's what made her stand out from other girls, she just wasn't like them. As far as her body, her skin was soft along with many light freckles, her body the perfect pear shape.

Sydney's personality is the total opposite of what she looks like. She is very determined, and she never takes no for an answer, even through thick and thin she always has a smile on her face.

Now Sydney has a best friend named Kai Hayes, who was the same age as her, she really is the troublemaker out of their friendship. Which she does have a reason for being rebellious, but maybe you should find that out later.

Kai's looks and style really makes her character stand out, she truly is another beauty, with her black wavy hair that stops just on her shoulders, her eyebrows very thin but nicely plucked, and her eyes that were the color of sea green, making her stand out with Sydney.

Now here comes my favorite part, Mr. Eric, and Mr. Bruce, two peas in a pod. Being best friends ever since Eric saved Bruce from his "middle school" bully, they've stuck by each other side through hell and back.

Eric Talbot, a tall young 19 year old boy, that made every girl in his path fall right to his feet. People would say that he is a player, some of his past girlfriends would say he was a pure a**hole.

What made the girls fall for him was his ability to shred water like a pro when he surfed on the weekdays/weekends. His looks however was what really caught people's attention, his dusty dirty blond hair, and very well proportioned face. His eyes which were a hazel blue, and his perfectly tan and fit body.

And last is Bruce Fellows, the same age as his friend Eric, and slightly a bit taller than him. A lot of girls liked him as well, seeing how he was very manly for his age, he almost looked like he didn't belong in high school.

Bruce had long, dark, and messy hair that he always kept in a man bun, his face hidden behind his neatly cut beard, and his eyebrows were thick, making his grey eyes stand out from the rest of him.

As far as his body, he was very tan and fit, mostly from surfing with Eric all the time, and spending their time working on their boards and taking shifts at Al's.
