"todoroki!" a high toned voiced called to me as i was getting my shoes from my locker.

"hey midoriya (am i spelling that right ???)." i turned to the nervous boy, as i put on my shoes and put my school shoes in the locker.

"are you going back to the dorms now?" we walked in sync to the school gate.

"yeah, why?" i questioned.

"i was wondering if you wanted to go shopping with me. valentines is just around the corner and i need to get iida, uraraka and you stuff."

"what would be the point go you're getting me things and i'm helping you?"

"i mean i thought you would get someone something too or at least us heh."

"oh yeah, i haven't thought about that, but who i get for other than you and iida guys?"

"huh? i thought you would be getting yamomo something. you guys are pretty close."

"yaoyorozu (uhh i think i spelt that right.)?"

i never thought about getting yaoyorozu something romantic or that had romantic implications. i thought she couldn't view me in that way.

"how would she feel about it? valentines things usually have romantic implications, i don't know if she likes me like that."

"but don't you like her like that?" he playfully punched me.

"i...i don't know." my body heats up. like when i use my fire side of my quirk. "yaoyorozu has a high respect for me and we have a good friendship. i think i would ruin it if i gave her chocolates."

no one else really knows about my...admiration for yaoyorozu, only midoriya because he's a good friend.

"if anything just say it friendship chocolates."

"yeah i guess that's a plan. when do you plan on going to town?"

"right now! well, we can go to the dorms first and change."

"sounds like a plan, but where exactly are we going? we can get far on foot, unless we're taking the bus." 

"we're not going that far, there's a good bakery just a few blocks away from u.a. they have a sale when it's valentines."

"what do they have at the bakery? it doesn't sound like a place to go to for valentines."

"don't worry! it has a lot valentines things."

"well, let's get going."

when we got to the dorms, I changed into a more comfortable. 

midoriya and I walked to the bakery he talked about earlier. the walk wasn't very long and the bakery was far from other stores, but it was in its own market area. it was unusual bakery shop if you compare it to the ones in town. the over all aesthetic of the place had a jazzy feel to it and was more mellow and dull than most. there was a display of multiple different breads, sweets, and chocolates. there was a sale sign just above displayed chocolates, telling about the valentine times sale that midoriya told me about.

"todoroki, look! see chocolates." midoriya pressed his face against the display glass, looking the chocolates. "there's a ton of different ones, look." 

I joined midoriya in his staring. "yup, chocolates." I tried to have a amused tone, but failed and talked with the same monotone. 

"midoriya? shouto?" the voice that called was calm and smooth. not to mention, they said my first name and the only I know who calls me that, other than family, was,

"momo?"
