Young Love

Part 1

It was the 4th of July and it was also Steve and Millie's 14th birthday they spent the day at the carnival that is down by the beach with their friends. Millie is 5 minutes younger than Steve and he let's everyone in their group of friends know that she's the baby. Once they got back to their house all their friends were gathered in the kitchen talking and laughing about their day. Millie was sitting on one of the kitchen counters talking to her best friend and brother's girlfriend Wanda she and Bucky were the only two that were both single everyone else in the group were dating each other. Sam was dating Millie's friend Kaci and Clint was dating Nat who also happens to be one of Millie's friends. The boys were over on the other side of the kitchen talking and cutting up but Bucky's eyes kept going in Millie's direction. Steve and Wanda had walked off to get in the pool when Clint noticed that Bucky kept looking at Millie and biting his lip.

"You like Roger's little sister don't you? You have been looking at her all night Buck." Clint said

"No no I don't." Bucky said nervously with a hint of blush on his cheeks and he hopped off the counter headed out towards the pool. Millie had looked over at him one of the times that he had been staring at her and blushed a little when she caught him so when she looked back over to see him and Clint leaving she was relieved.  Millie was the baby not just in her group of friends but also in her house and her daddy had a different set of rules for her then he did Steve. 

All of Millie's girlfriends were allowed to wear two piece bathing suits and be on birth control but not Millie her daddy made her wear a one piece bathing suit and said she wasn't allowed on birth control cause he didn't want her to think it was ok to have sex at 14. So all of the girls went to put on their swimsuits but not Millie. She stayed inside she was embarrassed that her daddy was so strict on her. When the girls came out Bucky noticed that Millie was missing so he swam over to Steve and said "Where's your sister?" 

"I will go check on her." Steve said 

Steve grabbed a towel and went to find MIllie crying in her room. "Hey sis what's wrong?" Steve said 

"Why can't daddy let me wear my bikini when the boys are over like the rest of my friends?" Millie said 

"Oh Millie is that why you aren't outside swimming. Sis it's ok no one is going to make fun of you. I will make sure no one makes fun of you.We are twins we stick together remember that." Steve said 

She wiped tears and said "Ok." Steve left her room and went outside and said "Guys when Millie comes out please don't anything about her bathing suit ok. She's upset cause my dad makes her wear a one piece when you guys are over." 

"Yeah man we won't say nothing. We know that she's your little sister and she's our friend too." Sam said

"Yeah it's ok Steve you didn't have to tell us that." Bucky said 

Clint just smiled and said "Yeah I won't say nothing." 

Millie bit her lip and opened the door and swallowed hard as she walked out. Her one piece had the sides out of it but it still made her uncomfortable. Bucky saw her being nervous and he got out and said "Hey you ok?"

"Yeah." she whispered 

Millie put her towel down and walked over and got in the pool. Everyone was very quiet as Bucky followed her back into the pool she went under and when she came back up everyone was talking and laughing. She swam over to Wanda and the girls and Wanda said "You ok? All you had to do was tell us that your daddy doesn't like you wearing bikinis when we hang out with the boys and we would have bought some to make you feel less uncomfortable." 

"Yeah I'm fine. I just hate it cause I like someone and I don't want him to think I'm so weirdo." Millie said 

"Oh who is it? Is someone in our group." Nat said looking around 

Millie smiled and shook her head yes but then said "But I'm not going to tell you cause then you will go tell him." 

Bucky seen her face light up as she talked about something and he just smiled. He loved her smile cause when she smiled so big her dimples showed. Clint saw it and hit Sam and whispered "Barnes is crushing on Rogers." made him look at Bucky as he continued to stare at Millie. Sam said "Earth to Barnes." Bucky shook his head but it caught Millie's attention and she caught him again and she blushed big time and Nat whispered "Omg it's Barnes." 

"Shut up Nat." She whispered.

"Guys seriously stop." Bucky said 

"You like my sister." Steve said 

"No I have already told Clint no." Bucky said but he couldn't hide the blush that time

"oh my god look at your face." Sam said "It's all red and shit." Clint said

Meanwhile across the pool Wanda said "It is Barnes isn't it." 

"Shut up." Millie said 

Millie's face just kept getting red so she went underwater to hide and swam away not realizing she was about to swim right into Bucky as she had her eyes closes they both had the same idea. They bumped heads and came up for air "Oh I'm so sorry Millie I I I didn't see you I had my eyes closed." 

"It's ok I dddid too." Millie said as she walked back to her friends

All of their friends started say "Oooh Barnes and Rogers." 

"Shut up." They both said in unison 

Millie started to get out of the pool quickly and ran back inside. She leaned up against her bedroom door and was breathing hard. "Oh god why does he have to be so cute." she whispered 

Bucky was sitting at one of the porch tables with his face hidden thought to himself "God why does she have to be so adorably cute." 

Millie came back out dressed and Steve said "Millie why did you change?"

Bucky looked up and saw that she had changed back into her clothes and she said "Cause I don't want to swim anymore." Bucky got up and went to change back into his clothes and said "I'm going home Steve." 

"Buck guys come on we was just having a little fun. You two were stuttering and being nervous like you two like each other or something."  Steve said 

Millie's face turn red and said "I'm going to bed." she ran back inside and went to bed. Bucky went home and he was laying in bed scrolling through the pictures from the day and landed on his favorite a picture of Millie with her friends they were standing side by side in their aviator glasses and messy buns making kissy faces but instead of the full picture Bucky had made his picture just her he zoomed in on her and took the picture.
