Chapter 1

-Christina's POV-

so I just walked off the stage and about to rest,

"Oh my god Christina, you did amazing you have no idea how perfect it was!"

Lauren, as my best friend, hugged me tight.

I couldn't help but chuckle, "Wait Lauren, I can't breathe."

"Doesn't matter." She hugged me for three more seconds then let go of me.

"My baby girl, I'm so proud of you." Mom hugged me and Dad followed as well.

"Awh Mom and Dad, I'm proud to be your daughter." I smiled, that's the truth.

Yep, I'm Christina Grimmie, as you know I started as a youtuber years ago, but I have released two albums already! Weeks ago I decided to go to The Voice, for my mama really wants me to, so yeah, and I just sang Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus! Couldn't believe all the four chairs have turned.

It was hard to choose between Adam and Usher. I mean, Shakira and Blake are really great too, but Usher seems to be excited about me joining his team; Adam is awesome and cool. After struggling like forever, I chose Adam as my coach. He showed a big smile and posed a victory gesture.

Oh by the way, I LOVE playing video games. Zelda and LOL are my life. Link and Teemo are the cutest, for sure duh. If you love them, you get ten points.

"woahhhhiaiyaiyaiyaiyaaaa." A powerful voice spreaded through the stage, then two buttons have been pressed. I looked at the screen and freezed.

There's this girl with beautiful blonde hair, and her eyes are such blue like ocean.. her black jacket ft. red pants really suits her, and her voice.. I guess I'm addicted to it.

I like her rocker style, and I think we should be friends.

"Hey Christina, you stared at the screen like a lost child. What happened?" Lauren sat next to me and asked.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head, "Nothing, just found another good singer."

"You mean the girl who sings 'Steamroller Blues' ?"

"Yeah, Adam and Blake pressed the button within five seconds, that proves a lot."

"Look! She chose Usher!" She pointed as I followed her hand. Usher was smiling so happily and Adam seemed quite depressed. Ugh I envy her. And that means we are going to be on different teams...

"Christina, we got to go home!" Lauren and my family were walking to the gate.

"Okay, I'll be at the parking lot in a few minutes!"

I soon ran to the backstage. I saw that girl sighed with relief and smiled while her family was cheering for her performance. There's a boy who doesn't seem to be her brother, I guess that's her boyfriend. I inhaled and walked to them.

"Excuse me.. I'm Christina Grimmie, who sang Wrecking Ball on today's audition. I watched your performance and you did amazing of that song. Your voice is powerful!"

She gave me a dazzling smile, "Thanks a lot! I watched yours as well, and oh boy, you have a Wonderful voice. Glad to meet you in the same season! And I'm Bria Kelly. "

Bria Kelly... okay this word has added to my favorite in my dictionary right away.

"Nice to meet you Bria, but I need to go to the parking lot now, my family and friend are waiting there! Stay awesome!" I waved to her.

"Alright see you soon! You too!" She gave me that smile again. I shook my head.

I ran to where we parked and opened the car door, "Sorry for the waiting! Let's go!"

Team by Lorde was playing on the radio.

Sunset outside the window looked beautiful.

I grinned.

Things are going to be better from this nice start.
