"Hey Debs!" Lou greeted. Her bag slung over her shoulder.

"Hey! Come in." Debbie opened the door wider.

"I'm so excited about this sleepover. Here I bought snacks." Lou said, handing Debbie a big bag consist of chips and candies.

"Oh wow. Thanks."

"Honey? Is that Lou?" a female voice called out.

"Yes Mrs. Ocean. I'm here."

The woman with brown hair and dark brown eyes emerged from the kitchen.

"Hi Lou. How are you?"

"I'm fine. How 'bout you Mrs. Ocean?" Lou asked politely.

"Good good."

"Is Mr. Ocean home?"

"No. He is with Danny. Doing some boys stuff."

"Oh okay."

"We gotta go to my room now mom." Debbie said impatiently. She grabbed Lou's hand.

"Okay okay young lady. Well nice to see you Lou."

"You too Mrs. Ocean." Lou smiled.

"And don't sleep late, okay?"

"Hmmhhh. Yeah. Come onnnnn." Debbie pulled Lou towards her room.

Debbie's room is quite simple. Her small bed is beside to the window. A small TV at one side and other is her closet and shelf full of books. Near the door is her small vanity.
There is a mattress on the floor.

"We can't share my bed. It's too small for the both of us. And I move very often. I don't want to wake you up. Is that alright?" Debbie said.

"Yeah it's cool. Hey, did you now Tammy can't come?

"Mhhm. She told me she had to babysit her sister. Her mom have to do somewhere."

"Yeaaaah. Hey let's watch some movies."

"Sure. But all I have are horror movies."

"Horror movies?" Lou asked. Her eyes glinted. She made a small smile but it disappeared.

Debbie laughed.

"Don't tell me that Lou Miller, the bravest person in school, is scared of horror movies."

"I-Im not scared." Lou said.

"Your voice said otherwise. Admit it Lou. Your scared."

"Am not!"

"You are."

"Am noooot!"

Debbie raised her eyebrow.

"Ugh let's just watch this damn movies." Lou said with annoyance. She put her bag near at the mattress. She grabbed the chips and candies and 2 bottled water.

Debbie played the movie. She sat down on the floor and patted her hand, signaling Lou to sit there.

The first half of the movie is fine. No scary parts yet. 'This is not that scary.' Lou thought. And then out of nowhere, someone scary appeared.

Lou yelped and covered her eyes.

"Aww is little Lou scawed." Debbie teased.

"Shut up." Lou mumbled.

Debbie laughed. She reached for a blanket and draped it over them.

"There." she said as she scooted closer to Lou.
