he steals the moon from the night sky and i lay my head on your shoulder / connecting freckles in my mind like constellations / and when it turns dusk to dawn you tell the moon goodnight and send her into celestial oblivion

perhaps you're the sun and i'm the moon

you know i wasn't alright then and i certainly am not now
