Hazel's POV)
3:39 AM

I jolted awake. I picked my phone up that was sitting on the ground, next to me. It was 3 am, and I was just having a nightmare. It was where my friends all of a sudden turned on me, and that's possibly the worst thing that could ever happen.

5:23 AM

I jolted awake again, but this time I was struggling to catch my breathe. I was crying, but I tried to keep down so I wouldn't wake anyone up. I started to breathe in and out slowly, but nothing was working. I've been having a reoccurring nightmare, all set on the same thing.

My sister's death.

I started to sob quietly, with a couple whimpers escaping my mouth. I turned over to my side to reveal Luke crouched beside me.

"Shhhh." He said as he held me in a hug. I started to heave again, but did feel some comfort due to his presence.

"Was it..?" He said, knowing about the reoccurring dream. I slowly shook my head as I held onto his shirt.

7:54 AM

I woke up only to be encased in Luke's arm's. I slowly remembered the event last night and sighed heavily. Luke's eyes fluttered open.

"Morning, do you feel better?" He said in a sleepy voice. My head kinda hurt, possibly a migraine. I couldn't tell if it was from the alcohol or lack of sleep.

"A bit better. Now sh it's too early." I said, snuggling into the quilt. Luke chuckled lightly.

9:32 AM

"Sleepy, wake up!" Said Luke in a cheery voice.

"Shut up turtle face." I said and rolled over.

"Hazel Luna, for heavens sakes it's 9 AM." Said Luke.

"Aren't you fancy using my middle name." I said and he laughed.

"There's pancakes-" Freddie started.

"GOOD MORNING WORLD!" I yelled as I stretched out like a cat. My back cracked and I fell back down.

"Ow." I murmured under my breathe. Luke, Andy, and Freddie started to laugh. It's a good thing I have some clothes at Luke's house. Wearing other people's clothes is just, weird.

I put on a oversized hoodie and some high water jeans. Walking downstairs, I gave Alayna, Luke's mom, a hug.

"Good morning guys!" She said in a cheery voice.

"Morning." I said in a rather groggy voice, in which she stifled a laugh.

"I've made pancakes for you guys." She said and I did a silent victory dance. Everyone just watched me while I pumped my fist in the air and tapped my feet.

"What the fu-" started Luke,  before his mom could stop him

"Language mister." She said and Luke blushed.

"Yeah, language Lukey." I said and he narrowed his eyes at me.

"I would love to have to deal with them." Said Freddie and Andy agreed.

"It's ... different?" Said Alayna. We all laughed.

"We like to have a lot of laughs here." Said Andy.

"I'M NOT GOING TO YOUR FREAKING BABY SHOWER, JANET!" Luke and I screamed in unison. We highfived and started laughing.

"See what I mean?" Said Alayna.

------

Freddie took Luke and I to the house where Luke's car was, so Luke could drive me home.

We had a grand old time on the way home. Listening to good music and dancing like manias is what I mean.

"I'm not read for our last year."Says Luke, out of the blue.

"Okay, I don't remember ordering a depresso-expresso for Starbucks." I said calmly. Luke laughed softly.

"True. But I thought that someone needed to say it." He said and I nodded.

He wasn't wrong. I wasn't ready to go off to college, I was planning to. I wasn't ready for the real world.

"Yeah. I'm scared." I said and he looked at me for a brief second.

"I'm scared to face the real world, and all that stuff." He said and I looked at him.

"Me too. But I need you to promise me one thing." I said and he looked back at me before turning his head back to the road.

"And what may that be?"

"Promise me, that no matter what happens, we stay best friends." I said as we pulled into her driveway.

"Deal." He said and smiled.

Luke POV

FuuuuuuuDDDDGGE.

"I want to be more than friends!" I scream at her as she walks up the steps.

Or, at least that's what I did in my head.

Honestly, I really want to leave this last year of school [and a half] to it's fullest. I'm pretty sure Hazel will want to focus on her studies. She's going for a Psychologist. She's always talked about wanting to help people through their problems.

God, she's too sweet.

I try to phocus my mind on another subject. My band's having their first performance in two weeks. I've already asked a couple people, and they told me they would be there.

I'm the drummer, and I may ask Freddie to be the lead singer. For this reason: our lead singer quite on us yesterday. Freddie is such a good singer.

I heard a little "beep" coming from my phone. I pulled into a grocery store and pulled out my phone.

Hazel: just asked my mom, she said I could go to the concert!!!!♡♡

The little hearts caught my breathe.

Me: woop woop!

Hazel: don't text and drive dufous.

I chuckled lightly.

Me: I'm being responsible, I'm at a grocery store.

Hazel: get me candy and feed it to me in too lazy to go get some and eat it myself.

I thought "okay" for a second. What am I thinking? It's just a joke and that would be awkward.

Me: lol

Hazel: it's not a joke. I suggest something very chocolaty. Or sour. Or both. You know what? Grab one of everything.

Me: how much will you be contributing to this bill?

Hazel: -$12.

Me: fair enough.

Seen

Yikes, left on read.

I pulled out of the grocery store with a smile plastered on my face.
