"MISS COHEN, WILLIAM IS HERE TO PICK YOU UP." I hear, after pressing the button. I let out a short sigh before leaning my mouth towards the phone.

"I got it, thank you, Lily." She replies with a polite welcome before I begin to pack up my stuff. I grab my purse, resting it on my inner elbow and my coat on my other hand. I walk out of my office, handing Lily who was at her usual desk going over some work I have for her. "Please make sure to go over through this before sending it to Adrian." She nods, telling me to have a good rest of my day.

I walk past her desk then I slowly walk past Casey's office as slow as I can so I wouldn't make any noise with my heels. I grin to myself, thinking that it's working that's until he spoke coming from his office.

"Have fun, you... bitch." I roll my eyes turning my heel as I walk inside his office. He's on his seat with his eyebrows furrow together and a pout on his lips.

"I'll make it up to you. I promise." I cross my fingers. He scoffs rolling his eyes not believing me. "I'll take you out to a club tomorrow night. How about that?" He face lightens up then falls a second later.

"A gay club." He adds.

"No." I shake my head.

"What? Why not?"

"Because I'm not gay, Casey." He throws his head back groaning out loud.

"But I am!" He whines.

"We're going to a regular club tomorrow and that's final. Now I shall leave before daddy gets all frustrated at me again." I huff. A small smile curls up onto his lips.

"You better come back and tell me everything." He point his index finger at me, squinting his eyes.

"Yes, boss." I joke, I blow his a kiss then wave goodbye at him. I leave his office and to the elevator.

As it took me to the lobby, everyone inside bowed down their heads greeting me a hello again. I smile at them then left. I made my way towards a big black limo that William was standing by. He opens the door for me right when I approached him. I know he isn't going to tell me where I'll be meeting my father so I decided against it. I just sat inside staring out the window watching the cars pass by.

"Here we are, Miss Cohen." I didn't notice my eyes were close almost drifting off to sleep until he spoke.

I blink my eyes open, deciding against to bring my fingers up and rub my weary eyes or else it'll ruin my make up. I look out the window, finding myself in front of a rich restaurant. I grab my belongings, fixing my appearance a little bit on a little mirror I have. William opens my door at the exact time I was ready.

"Thank you, William." He nods, courting me over to the door. He opens the door for me then left to stay by the limo. I walk up to the lady behind the counter.

"Cohen?" I nod, her eyes widen grabbing a menu then leads me over to the private booth my father was at. I notice him sitting on the booth with his back facing me. I straighten up my posture keeping a straight serious face. I begin walking towards the booth but immediately stopped when I notice that he wasn't alone. Across from him was the one and only, Mr. Mendes. Mr. Mendes sees me causing my father to turn around to look at me.

"Adeline! There you are!" Dad puts on a big grin on his face approaching me. I was stood frozen staring at Mr. Mendes. "I'll take this. Grab her a glass of water, would you?" The waiter nods her head then scurries out quickly. Dad grabs ahold of my hand pulling me to the booth.

"Hello, Adeline. I'm not sure we've met before." Mr. Mendes stands up from the booth holding out his hand for me to shake. I eyed his hand and his face, deciding whether I should shake my father's business rival.
