Loads of people dressed in Halloween costumes-arrived at the Diaz's log cabin. A slim small woman named Janna was preparing still with her husband Tom while Marco was outside talking to people. A mother in her late 20's had a daughter that was no younger than 5 was holding her stuffed bear but her mother was flirting with other men. The small toddler crawled everywhere getting,"awwweees" and "she's so cute!" Tom looked at Janna cleaning and got up and hugged her from behind,"Baby, it's okay you need to just take a break you have been like this all week I think the house is clean.""But-" While getting cut off with a kiss. Marco hung skeletons and fake guts from trees, usually Tom,Janna,Jackie, and Max(oc character) would help but Jackie and max had to go help take care of their kids. Meanwhile the adventurous child took a break and sat on the porch while everyone was crowded inside. Janna shooed them away and made them go outside and play some scary games but in reality just made them clean what they destroyed, she then walked out on the porch and looked at the helpless child and quickly walked to her and picked her up."Hey baby girl? Where's ur mommy?!" Looking concerned Janna took her to Tom who was asleep on the couch."my m-mommie d-doesn't love me and she is telling the guys to come to the h-house later.." Janna sat her down as she run to grab her phone when a kid took it,"ASSHOLE GIVE IT BACK" She dashed off and football tackled the kid. Star wiped her eyes and went to where Tom was. He was with all the teens while they was getting ready to go through the haunted forest. She waited along with the others.

IN THE HAUNTED FOREST

The teens all screamed with fear but excitement! The forest that people dressed up as a scary character from anything that scares you in a forest. Unlucky for Star she got pushed in there by the older teens. She hated it, all of a sudden a clown jumped out and scared her but realized she wasn't supposed to be here but that was too late. She dashed off to the nearest human she could lay eyes on and that was Marco. She had tears streaming down her face and scream crying. Before she came running to him Marco was talking to Tom and Janna when he heard her."Woah baby shhh," Picking Star up gently and rocking her."D-Dey s-scawed m-me!" Tom walked over to Marco,"Baby it's ok we are here.""M-mommie weft me wif papers." Marco's heart shattered into small pieces, Rip..tear..shred Janna acted quick and grabbed her backpack and grabbed her computer and rushed inside and looked at orphanages nearby."W-we will help you find mommy ok baby girl do you have a name?""S-star B-butterfwy*sniffle* and mommy t-toed m-me not to c-come back." Tears started to form in the corners of the Guys eyes. I guess she made a loud scene?! Each individual was looking towards the helpless child and Marco. He took pro cautionary measures and pulled out his phone and dialed social services.

Beep

Beeeeeep

Tom looked at her and grabbed her gently from Marco swaying her back and forth. Her lids began to droop as she went off into slumber. Meanwhile Janna was crying her eyes out. She was very sensitive too these type of situations but not like this.

A Few Minutes Later

Janna was still at it with the tears flowing down her face. Mascara running, while sniffling and rubbing her eyes. Tom walked in holding the fragile child with both hands for support because you don't wanna drop the poor thing do ya'? He then noticed that his other baby girl was crying, laying star on the small little couch he sat beside her and wrapped arms around her and hugged her with a tight embrace."It's gonna be okay baby...I know you seeing her in this situation is stressful, but we have t o get through this okay?""S-she I-is s-so h-helpless a-and*hic*d-doesn't h-have a momma!" Tom pulled her into his lap and held her like a baby and rocked and sang a song to calm her down. All she could do was just fall asleep and her husbands muscular arms just made her fall into a soothing and more stable sleep.

Meanwhile Marco was calling anyone and seeing if they know the social services number but found it very clear he needed to call 911 so he made all the teens go home and jogged inside with his phone and looked at Tom."I'm calling 911..""Good idea man she's on the other couch asleep if you wanna know where she's at."

Moments Later

Police showed up at the door, but they walked in anyways."Hello Mr.Diaz what seems to be the problem?" Marco was holding the papers while Star was sleeping in his arms."I found her crying and running to me from the haunted forest we had and she got pushed in by teens, but she had come with a little backpack that had adoption papers in it...and she said that her mom was flirting with other men and told her not to come near her..""May we check her for any signs of abuse and do some DNA testing on her to see who the mother is.""s-sure..." Marco handed Star to the officer but felt the need to take her back. After a while of talking Marco actually trusted the officers and let them take her in.'This is gonna be a stressful day...' He let those thoughts set aside and headed off to bed. Tom carried Janna their room and laid her down and took her shirt and pants off and changed into his boxers and headed off to bed.

"Officer Jones I'm starting to think she's been neglected to be honest..""Well...I think we trust Mr.Diaz, He does work at the other station around town but we don't know him.""Yeah I do as well and she can stay with him." A whole hour of checking Star's backpack they checked her as well. You could see her ribs poking out of her little dress as the officer took a look. This wasn't good at all..The officers took some DNA tests and they found out who the mother was...

"Yep she's goin' Home with the Diaz's...I don't like the way her mother looks in that picture...(bruh what is my life...)she can go now.." Quickly the officer put Star's backpack in for more testing and gave her to the others and took her home.

Marco came running to the door almost tripping and opened it to see is little girl bundled up and a blanket and some earmuffs.(Yessss a baby star and father Marco moment!)"Mr.Diaz we would love for you too take care of her and you may sign the papers. The officer then handed her too Marco. He said his fair wells and closed the door behind him and went to go sit on the couch as he heard a little sniffle coming from the child."wake up baby girl." She rubbed the tiredness out of her eyes and started to cry. Marco felt like there was a connection and he began to rock her slowly back and forth, even though she was about 5 he didn't care. He reached over to the papers and started to sign them while rocking her."w-where a-am I?" Ask as Star begun to breathe heavy,"It's ok baby girl we aren't letting you go back home too those mean people who treat you or neglect you l'm your new guardian, and I'll always be there for you and protect you, ok?" After a few minutes of silence she hugged him tight while crying."T-tanks d-Dadda.""I love you Star my baby." He placed a kiss on her forehead as she begun again to once sleep.
