~Shikaku's POV~
It was a Tuesday morning in August I was in a business meeting with my two co Managers Inoichi and Chouza, my phone rang but since this meeting was important I let It go to voicemail. The meeting ended and I listened to the voicemail. Apparently I need to go get my son who was sick again at preschool. I get Shikamaru and take him to see my older brother Ensui at the hospital since he was a doctor. As we went through the appointment Ensui asked "Are you coughing anything up? Like mucus or.. blood?" Shikamaru nodded he said "that's why my teacher sent me home is because I was coughing up blood." Man, just the way he said it I about freaked out. So Ensui took him to a different room and said he need to draw blood and any other child would freak out that a doctor was coming at them with a needle. Well not my boy he was never scared of needles. Ensui drew the blood and put him in a hospital room and gave him the I.V while I went and admitted him into the hospital. Sure he was scared but I was terrified to know what happened to my son.
I sure hope it's nothing bad.
~Ensui's POV~
I never thought this would happen to my nephew. I tested his blood with everything and only one thing came back positive. I honestly almost burst into tears it was something parent or guardians would want to know. But this is my nephew and my little brother they need to know. But right now I don't have the guts to do it I went to my office and cried because my nephew has a very bad Cancer. I didn't know how I was going to tell him and his father. Some times I hate being a doctor but Shikaku deserves to know. It's time I have the guts to tell him and Shikamaru. So I walk to Shikamaru's hospital room and looked at both of them. "I have some good news and bad news what do you want to know first?" I asked. Shikaku paled and said "good news first." I nod "well almost everything we tested Shikamaru for came back negative but one thing came back positive." Shikaku had color in his face but then he paled again. " Well what's the bad news" he stuttered out. " Shikaku, Shikamaru he has...." I stated tearing up. "He has Leukemia." Shikaku looked confused " He has what?" I sighed " to put it simply he has a rare blood cancer." Shikamaru started to cry and Shikaku was speechless he then also started cry. "I'm so sorry Shikamaru, Shikaku. I truly am." I murmured.
~Shikamaru's POV~
It's Monday morning and I'm getting ready to go back to preschool. Dad and I are still upset about me having cancer. We get there and he said that if I need to to call him if I feel sick. With that he left and I went over to my two friends Chouji and Ino. "Hey guys." I said quietly they were happy to see me. "Hey you guys need to know something about me." Shikamaru said.
"I have Cancer." Shikamaru said.his friends were speechless. Ino started to cry a bit.
