Good-bye Missy

A couple days after I published Missy my parents took her to the vet. So here's a little chapter dedicated to Missy.

I found out on a Friday it was late, a club of mine went to go see infinity war. I was a little nervous about not going home right after school because of Missys vet trip but I think Mary wanted me to go so I did. So my boyfriend at the time (we broke up) needed a ride home. After dropping him off I asked about Missy and Mary had to break the news to me, she had an organ failure and there was liquid in her stomach so she couldn't eat. I did cry but not as much as I thought I would.

Mary was worried about sending Daisy to get a haircut because she always had Missy to go with her. She had to go to the place to set and appointment instead of doing it over the phone. When she came out she cried on the way home. I cried a bit to because I remembered that when me and brother moved in with our dad, Mary was the one to pick us up and we went to that dog salon to pick her up and every time (almost everyday) I saw that place I made a point of saying "Hey that's the place we picked up Missy." I stopped after awhile but always thought about it when I saw it.

Missy was our most badass dog, she is the only dog that went on a flight, and on top of that she did it alone. She's survived a cat/snake (we don't know which) attack and tons of birthdays despite being afraid of balloons. She had to deal with Macy as a puppy and an adult, had to deal with Daisy in her later years. She was probably the only dog that could make a full grown boxer run away in fear. She could on to a UPS guys shorts despite not having any teeth. The only dog that had to deal with us putting her in a lake and making her swim. She would alway hog the bed and
wake up the parents at four in the morning.
