"Okay. What is the best way to work around this?" I thought to myself. I always come up with small scenarios in my head of when I meet famous people but now that I actually have, I was speechless and shocked at the same time, leaving me puzzled on what to do.

Should I:

1) fan girl and scream and take a selfie with him and get an autograph

or

2) should I calmly ask him for directions while still knowing it's him

or

3) pretend I have NO IDEA who he is and pull the "oh my god I had no idea card" and ask him for directions as if he were a stranger

For some reason, I went with my 3rd option thinking I'll probably successfully get to the party without scaring him away.

"I am really really sorry I screamed in your face! Sorry I'm just really stressed out right now because I have to be there by 1:30 and I'm completely lost and annoyed and my GPS is a piece of shit and I -" My excessive chatter was cut off when Evan grabbed my shoulder. His hands were really warm and huge and I got goosebumps in about 0.2 seconds.

"Hey-hey calm down. It's all good! You just need to relax. I can help you. Where are you headed?" His voice was so oddly calming in the weirdest way possible. He has a slightly awkward tone but it's deep and perfect all at once making me once again internally die with even more goosebumps as well.

"I-uh um I uh, here" Unable to speak properly I just presented the invitation to him with the address on it.

"Hey I know where that is! I live right by it!"

"Oh well then do you want me to give you a ride to your house as you give me directions to the party?" Wow I cannot believe how stupid I sounded when I said that. Like what kind of celebrity would ride in some shitty car with some awkward college girl with the worst speaking skills?

"I was actually in the middle of my run workout-" I knew it. Wow way to embarrass yourself Alex.

"-but I hate running so if you don't mind, I would love a ride home!" Well that escalated quickly. I was beyond lost on what I should comment on that. Like "okay yeah let's go!" or should I open the door for him then be like "your majesty" and point to the crappy seats? I have always had a problem with over thinking. I went with the first choice and immediately rushed over to the drivers side of the car.

"Running huh? That's good that you're working out. Not that your fat or anything-er I mean not like that but like yeah running is good. yeah" If I had a knife or gun I would have easily murdered myself by now. As you can see, small talk is the worst side of me.

"Haha no to be honest I hate running but Sophie, my agent, thinks I need to get in shape so she hired me a physical trainer and I hate it. Exercise is probably my least favorite activity." By this point it seemed beyond obvious that I should pull my I had no idea card from the point where he mentioned "agent".

"Agent?"

"Oh yeah I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Evan and I'm an actor."

"Evan as in Evan Peters?"

"Yeah! You may have seen me in X-Men or American Horror Story." And Adult World and Sleepover and Kick-Ass and Never Back Down 1 and 2. It was scary how much I knew about him.

"Oh yeah I've heard of you!" What a dumb ass move Alex.

"By the way sorry if I don't smell great or look decent! I'm not the best at dressing stylish or anything. I always look homeless with my hair and baggy clothes." He chuckled.

"No-no worries! Yeah same actually, I usually hate dressing up but the party seems legit and all so... but uh yeah we should probably get going!"

And with that my journey with Evan began. He lead me towards his mansion in Beverly which surprisingly was like down the street from my friend's party house.

"So this is my house on the left. Sorry, you have to go through the gate but I can talk to Steve. He's like the security dude that lets people in and shit you know." Damn. I don't even lock the door to my apartment and here's Evan with his insane security. "YO STEVE IT'S ME! I'M HERE WITH A FRIEND!" The gate slowly opened.

I pulled up to the front of his house, while being shocked by the amazing view.

"Wow it's beautiful."

"Thanks you can come in if you want!" He offered, which shocked me. Is Evan Fucking Peters actually inviting me to his house? Holy Hell.

"Thank you for your offer but I actually have to get going... Sorry! Uh here's my number though." What. The. Fuck. It's always been part of my conscience to automatically avoid all social events including coming over to someone's house, but really Alex? Are you really avoiding this one?

I wrote my number on an empty gum wrapper and gave it to him. I knew that he was never going to contact me ever again because I was only one out of the many fans he has and I wasn't even nice or anything to him.

"Haha alright thank you! Thank you for the ride and everything! That was really sweet of you! Hope I see you soon!" And with that, I drove off waving good bye and going towards the party house.

"So stupid of me. So so SO stupid of me! Ugh." I mumbled to myself in the car, knowing I made the stupidest decision ever.
