The wind gushed in my face. Making it burn, but not a bad burn. More of a relaxing burn. I saw the landscape beneath me start to change from a green grassland, to a lush swamp. Why does she live so far away from the town? I thought to myself. We landed, well actually he landed and I just did the worst belly-flop known to man. But when I looked up I saw a giant scaly face looking down at me. A dragon! I thought. Many of them!

"Oh ya, I forgot to mention, she lives on a dragon farm" Wolf admitted. Woah, i've always loved dragons, even from a young age. Though i've always been told that they don't exist. That explains why she lives so far away from town.

"Wiz tries to challenge the dragons, everytime we come" Wolf stated.

"Well actually this certain type of dragon is called wyverns. The red body colored one with orange head and tail horns, back spikes, and wings or secondary color is the fire wyvern, they are the most common. The green one with a yellow secondary color is the poison wyvern, they are second common. The white one with a blue secondary color is the frozen wyvern, they are second rarest. And lastly, the purple one with a hot pink secondary color is the thunder wyvern, they are the rarest" Wolf finished.

"Why are some of their back spikes missing?" I asked.

"That's where the saddle rest, in order for the spikes not to cut through the rider, they have to cut of some of their back spikes" he respond

"It doesn't hurt them, they cant feel their back spikes" he quickly said as he saw my look.

"What's with that one" I pointed to a wyvern that basically looked like a zombie.

"That's Elegant, he used to be a very shiny and gorgeous fire wyvern"

"What happened?" I urged

"Janda says she doesn't know actually, he just came back that why and has hated everyone and everything since" he sighed

"Poor thing, he used to love attention, like every other fire wyvern, but now he bites anyone who tries to get a saddle on him" Wolf said.

"So, Fox, ready to see Janda?" Wolf coaxed

"I don't see why not" I decided. We walked into the small hut that was conveniently located behind me. As I walked I noticed that there were a lot of sorcery things, I shouldn't be surprised, giving the fact this was a sorceress' hut. There were glass bottles with different colored liquid in each of them, some even shined and glistened. There girl walked out in front of us.

"Hello, Wolf!" She cheered

"Are you looking for Janda?"

"Why, yes I am" Wolf replied.

"Oh, by the way, Snow, since I know you are wondering, but too polite to ask, this is Fox, my assistant" he gestured towards me. Assistant, since when? I thought.

"Hello, Fox, i'm Snow, Janda's apprentice" she waved to me and I waved back. I took a second to actually look at Snow. She looked about the same age as Wolf and I. She was wearing a leather medieval shirt and leggings with a short brown cloth cloak that had an emerald for the button. Her eyes were blue and her hair was completely white, that must be where the name "Snow" came from.

"Wolf! your back! and you brought company!" I saw this middle aged woman wearing your stereotypical sorcerer cloak that was made out of leather ran over to Wolf and hug him.

"Hello, Janda! It's been forever! Last time we talked it must have been after I defeated the Hydra right?"

"It's been that long huh" Janda chuckled.

"This is my assistant, her name is Fox."

"Hello, Fox."

"Hello, Janda, right?"

"Correct" she smiled warmly at me.

"By the way Wolf, have you heard about the giant stone golem" asked Janda. Her warm look was now gone and had been replaced with a very serious look.

"No, I have not, what is it all about?"

"Well, this giant stone golem broke free from the ring of rock and is now trying to crush an entire town. Nothing you haven't dealt with already"

"I see", Wolf nodded his head.

"Well, Fox this is your first mission, isn't that exciting!"

"Ya, sure, yaay" I knew I said it half-heartedly, I didn't mean to be rude, I was just very nervous.

"Doesn't she sound optimistic, well then we, are, off" Wolf grabbed my hand and dragged me outside. We both spread our wings and leaped off the ground. I felt that feeling again. The feeling of wind rushing past my face, it was incredible. I looked around. It was beautiful, everything was so small. It was open plains and forest for as far as I could see. Completely untouched by mankind. As we neared the ring of rock, the green grassy fields and lush forest started to fade and turn into a plateau and mountain of rocks. Everything seemed normal until I saw the small village Janda was talking about. The village was built into the side of the mountain. And there was a large giant made out of rocks and boulders.

"It's the stone golem!" I yelled.

"That sure is, okay, so how you fight a stone golem is you have to go for the back of the neck, there should be an enchanted onyx that holds all the boulders and rock together, you have to pull it out, I will distract the golem while you go for the onyx!" He swooped down in front of the golem and graded the golem's attention. The golem swiped at Wolf, almost hitting him. I landed on the golem's back, and although Wolf was trying to distract the golem, the golem still noticed me. All of a sudden, a large stoney hand came flying towards me. I jumped out of the way and landed in between the golem's two fingers. I felt a gush of wind as the golem's hand landed harshly on the golem's back. I felt another gush of wind as Wolf flew above me.

"Okay, you distract the golem! I will go for the onyx!" After hearing this I leaped of the golem's back and right in front of the golem's face. The golem stared at me with a hard cold gaze. Then the golem attacked, the golem sent another hand flying right at me. I turned my wings to the left and plummeted down out of the way. It was definitely a close call. I spread my steampunk wings just before I hit the ground. My stomach flipped as my falling to my death abruptly stopped. Since I was down low, the golem tried to stomp on me. I noticed this when the golem's foot lifted off of the ground and into the air. I flew back up into the air as fast as I could. When the golem stomped down, I could feel the shock wave all the way into the air. The strong breeze felt pretty uncomfortable and knocked me back. I leap up into the air again catching a up drift. Before I could do anything else I saw Wolf rip the shining onyx right out of the golem's back.
