Zayn/S1/Episode: 5
The next day, Mr. Malik, Liam, and I wait in the lobby at Los Angeles International Airport for Ashley Benson, the daughter of an Italian mob boss, to arrive.
"Zayn! I've missed you sooo much!!" A blonde woman comes running towards us.
"M-Mr. Malik! Is that Ashley?!" I gasp.
"She's an intense woman," Mr. Malik chuckles.
Ashley's high heels clack loudly as she runs towards Mr. Malik, arms outstretched.
"Do your feet hurt today, Natalie?"
"What?"
He crouches down as if he's looking at my feet.
"Zayn?!" Ashley's arms miss him, and she ends up hugging a column right behind him. "ARGH!"
"Welcome to L.A, Ashley," Mr. Malik turns around, pretending not to notice she was trying to hug him.
He purposefully did that to avoid her.
"I just love how cold you are! It's been a long time, Zayn," she smiles at him.
"You look well," he says coldly.
"Yes, both Fang and I are just fine!" She giggles.
"Fang?"
"Oh, haven't you met him? I got a Chihuahua! Look, look!" Ashley takes a Chihuahua puppy from a man in a black suit standing behind her.
"Yip! Yip!" He barks.
"Now, now! Don't bark at Zayn, Fang! You should bark at that dumb bitch instead!"
I assume she means me.
Apparently Mr. Benson's already told her Mr. Malik has a girlfriend. She glares harshly at me.
"Fang is very well-trained. He hardly ever barks at people."
"...Maybe he's just in a bad mood," Mr. Malik huffs.
"Yip! Yip!"
Mr. Malik looks away from the Chihuahua.
I wonder if he doesn't like dogs? That's what it seems like.
"Let's go to the car," he says. "I want to introduce you to Liam and Natalie."
"Oh, is this a friend of yours? I'd like to meet him," she giggles.
Ashley winks at Liam, but he just looks away.
"Let's go, Natalie," Mr. Malik tells me.
"Okay."
"Aaahh! Waaait!" Ashley yells out as Mr. Malik heads towards the parking lot, his arm around my shoulders. Ashley chases after us and Liam heaves a sigh and follows behind as well.

We head back to the hotel in Mr. Malik's limousine. On the way there, Ashley's dog Fang grows very fond of Liam.
"Fang never warms up to someone this quickly!" She gasps. "Looks like Fangy has great taste in men, just like me."
"Aren't you lucky that Fang is so fond of you, Liam?" Mr. Malik smirks.
"I don't really like dogs," Liam sighs.
"Anyway, Zayn, I can't believe you have a girlfriend! Especially when you had a chance with a woman like me! You're so mean!" Ashley pouts.
