My name is Lucinda I am 14 years old and I live in a small town called Crystal Falls, it's located in the middle of the woods near of great waterfall that shines brightly in the moon light. I am 5 foot exactly, I have dark brown hair, green eyes, and my favorite color is purple. Of course I never would have told you that if I had never met my best friend, her name is Scarlet.
My story begins one year ago, a time where I never would have spoken to anyone unless my father gave me permission, he always wanted me to focus on my studies. My father is not a rich man but he's a hard-working one, always eager to please, and kiss up to anyone who had more power than he did. As with any sad story he wasn't always like this, I hear from neighbors that he was a kinder man once, but that changed when I was born. Ever since, I've had someone watch me during the day. I guess you could call her my babysitter. I never knew my mother and I have never asked, I wasn't allowed to ask for things unless it was to excuse myself to use the bathroom or go straight to bed.
But now after everything that's happened I am willing to share my story...
