Robyn POV
1045 am

It was an okay morning. The sun was out and there were birds singing. I had an hour and fifteen minutes until work started.

The first thing I did was jump into the shower. After the shower I wrapped myself in a towel and styled my hair.  After that I started on my makeup.

I love makeup. As a career I could be a makeup artist. I used to love watching my mom do her makeup. All the pretty colors and there's so many things you can blend to make other things.

Makeup is an art. The face is the canvas. It's so fascinating. Once I finished my makeup, I went and got an outfit out.

I wore the same type of clothes I wore everyday. Jeans and a plain T-shirt. Today my shirt was black. I matched it with some black and white converse.

Once I was dressed I went into the kitchen. I only have about twenty minutes until I need to leave the house. I grabbed some instant oatmeal and some fruit.

I boiled the milk and added my oatmeal. After that I chopped up some fruit and added it to the oatmeal.

I served it up in a bowl and began to eat my meal. Oatmeal was an odd food. It's lumpy and just has a weird feeling. It's okay, not my favorite though.

When I finished, I put my bowl in the sink and washed my hands. I grabbed my bag and left into the morning sun and cloudy skies of Detroit.

Im surprised it's not cold right now. The weather is actually perfect, not too hot and not too cold.

I kept walking until I left the trailer park. Then I made it on the the sidewalk. I could already see The Shelter from a distance.

Once I got there I did the same thing I did yesterday. I unlocked the doors and went inside. I placed my stuff in the ticket booth and sat down on the chair.

Then, I just waited waited. I checked my phone to see the time. 11:59am exactly. I noticed my phone was about to die so I decided to plug it in.

I was about to get up and stretch when a young man walked up to the booth.

"Hello", He said. "Hi, how can I help you today?", I replied. "Can I have five tickets for the rap battle please?", he asked. "Yes you can, fifteen dollars please", I said.

He then took out his wallet. It was black and had a couple rips in it. "Uhh, I only have a twenty dollar bill", he said. "That's alright, I have change", I said.

Once we exchanged money he put his wallet away and I have him the tickets. "Thank you, have a nice day", I said. "You too", He said.

After that, I got up to stretch for a little then went back to work.

B- Rabbit POV
145pm

Work was very busy today, so busy we ended up having a late lunch. I'm starving. I went to the food truck and got my usual sandwich I always got.

I took a bite as my stomach growled. My head was so light headed, I thought I was gonna faint.

Everyone was too busy eating so everything was silent. My mind started to wander to different things. This rap battle is so important. It's my come back.

If I do the same thing I did last time, it's over for me. Damn this game is so crazy.

I quickly clicked back into reality and finished my meal. After that I went back to work.

A couple hours later

I was on my way home when I stopped to see if Robyn was home. I wanted to see her. I walked to her trailer and just stood there looking like an idiot.

The lights were off so I figured she probably was out. I was about to try and knock anyways to see until I heard a voice behind me.

"Hey man whatcha doing?", Future said.
I quickly turned around and slightly stumbled grabbing on the the rail of the stairs. "Man don't be doing that", I said.

"Sorry, my bad. I see your stalking her now..never seen you do that before", he said. "I ain't stalking nobody. I was just gonna ask her something.", I said.

"Yeah, right", He said in a tone that told me her didn't believe me. "Look, we should get away from her trailer before she sees us.", I said.

"Why, dont want your girlfriend to know your to scared to knock on her door?", future said in a loud voice followed by a laugh. I playfully punched him in the arm.

"Stop.", I said trying to hold back a smile. A part of me awkwardly wanted Robyn to hear that. The other 99% of me didn't because of how embarrassing it was.

I dragged future down the line of trailers until we got far enough from Robyn's.

"Let's go back, you didn't even get the chance to ask what you were gonna say.", He said. "No, I wasn't going planning on actually knocking anyways", future said.

"Oooo Marshall's got a crush", he said in one of those annoying kid voices. "Shut yo she could hear you", I replied immediately. "Oh my bad I forgot",he said.

"So you still haven't told her about the name?", He said. "No, have you", I said. "No, you know I wouldn't do that", he said.

"Better not",I said. "When are you gonna tell her, she should know", he said. "I don't know man, alright?", I said obviously annoyed.

"For the record, Marshall sounds bada** compared to Jimmy", he said. "Yeah yeah, but it just helps me blend in more in a way", I said.

"Yeah, sure", he said laughing. I laughed too. "I think I might do it after the battle", I said.

"Ayeee my boy", he said. "Ima do it", I said. "You better, I wanna see some baby Marshall's around soon too.", he said.

"Shut up, its too soon", I said trying to hold back a smile. The thought of me and Robyn having a family made me feel happy.

"I'd be uncle Proof, or future or even DeShaun", he said. "THE NAME", I said in a hushed yell.

His eyes widened, "sh*t I forgot, you need to tell her soon. I'm tired of pretending." "I know, I know", I said.
