Family Of 13 (Jeongcheol)

Chapter 4 - School

There are lots of tasks, some difficult, involved with being a parent. Such as, getting your kids to school and daycare on time, making sure they didn't forget anything, preparing their lunch, etc. None of these tasks are simple when you have 11 kids. Especially this morning..... They're clothed and have all their stuff buuut there's one tiny, little problem: the car won't start. "Why can't you drive your other car?" You may ask. We only have one car. An electric powered van. (Go ahead, laugh) "SEUNGCHEOL!" I yelled while holding Dino and Hoshi. Seungcheol rushed into the garage followed by the rest of the boys. "Did you forget to charge the car last night?" Seungcheol's cheeks heated up as he scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Yes.......?" I sighed. "Well I can call Namjoon and Jin to see if they can pick up a few of the boys. I'll also call Taeyong." Seungcheol nodded. "Good idea baby."

After making some phone calls, Namjin and co. and Taeyong were on the way. "So Namjoon said they can pick up Joshua, Mingyu, Vernon, and Wonwoo. Taeyong is picking Dino, Hoshi, Minghao, and Jun. He'll be dropping them off along with his son Jisung at daycare. Now we just need to take Woozi and Seungkwan to preschool." I paused, thinking. Seungcheol looked around. "How do we do that? We don't have a working car and I have to be at work in 20 minutes." I handed Dino and Hoshi over to Seungcheol. "I can see if the rental car company can send us a car." Seungcheol nodded. "Ok."

Namjoon, Jin, and Taeyong pulled up. Seungcheol and I started getting the kids buckled in each car. "Mingyuuu!" Hoseok yelled. "Hobi!" All of the boys started talking and laughing with each other. I walked up to Jin and gave him a big hug. "Thanks Jinnie you're a life saver." Jin laughed. "Of course!" Seungcheol and Namjoon talked while finishing up getting the boys in the car. "Well I'll see you later. I have to go help Taeyong. Thanks again." Jin waved and got back into the drivers seat. Meanwhile, Taeyong was struggling while getting the car seats in. I chuckled and began helping him. "So how's it going with being a first time dad?" Taeyong smiled. "Great actually. As you can see, I'm still figuring out the whole car seat thing." We both laughed. "Dont worry I understand." Jisung giggled and played with Dino in the back row. (An: yes, Taeyong has a van also lol) After we finished hooking up the car seats, I put Minghao and Jun into their seats and buckled them up. "Have a good day boys. I love you!" I closed the car door and turned to face Taeyong. "Thank you so much for taking the boys to school. We really appreciate it." Taeyong gave me a hug. "Any time." I waved good bye as they drove away. "Well Seungcheol now we have to wait for the rental car."

15 minutes later and things are back in order. Seungcheol was a little late to work but hey, at least he got there. Woozi and Seungkwan made it to preschool as well. Now I'm alone. The entire house to myself. I laid down on the couch and sighed. This morning was stressful but everyone eventually got to where they needed to go.

Mission accomplished
