journey's pov
i woke up reaching for my phone on my night stand and i couldn't find it. then i realized jack fell asleep on the phone. i looked over my shoulder and found nobody on the other side of the bed. i started to get worried and quickly jumped out my bed.
i walked into the hallway and then i heard river's small voice coming from somewhere. i walked closer to the voice and she was in the bathroom.
"so are you and mommy and me going to be together again." she asked jack through the phone.
"i don't know all about that baby but lets hope okay?" he questioned her.
"yes." she smiled and i just left them to talk while i went downstairs and started making some breakfast.
"you know you need to forgive that boy right?" i heard my moms voice form behind me. i turned around and she was holding my phone.
"mom he assaulted me."
"listen i was you i wouldn't be thinking about me i would be thinking about river." she left me speechless. she does have a point though. she does need a father in her life and i'm taking that away. "just think about it okay." she said i just nodded.

"i shoulda never let you in. cause you got me face down." i said out loud as i read my lyrics on a piece of paper that i have been writing on for the pass 3 days.
"well looks like someone's in there feelings." i looked up form my paper and saw my best friend since 4th grade.
"luna!" i shouted and hugged her to death. "oh my god where have you been."
"well i've been in paris for photography and stuff but i heard you had your baby."
"yea she's with my mom they literally just left."
"oh yea she let me in." i nodded then continued to go over my lyrics. "well i just wanted to stop by i'll see you around."
"okay." she walked out the kitchen and soon after i heard the front door shut. i wrote down some more lyrics. i have a feeling this song will be something good.
