after school, hyunjin decided to bring back seungmin to his place. since his mother was in the worst moods for the past weeks. he thought she needed some cheering up after the incident.

"she misses me too?" seungmin questioned. hyunjin answered with a nod.

"after everything she's been pretty down. maybe it was because I was down. how I acted just affected her you know?"

seungmin lightly smiled and nodded. "yeah, I understand.."

"so it'll be like a surprise you know! I'll walk in first and ill open the door once I'm ready."

"okay, sounds good."

walking a little bit more, they finally arrived at hyunjin's place. before taking a step into the gate way, he frowned at his old place next to it. he saw his balcony, the place where it all started.

well his love story started.

"hey mom!" hyunjin called out, making seungmin snap back to his thoughts. he quickly stood beside the door, trying not to be seen.

"hi honey.." her voice was soft yet had a hint of gloominess. "you seem pretty happy today."

"I am." as hyunjin smiled, "and I think you'll be too."

his mother gave a confused look, hyunjin calling out for someone. she watched as seungmin came through the door. the scene playing as if it was in slow motion, she teared up. "h—honey..seungmin. oh my god, how have you been! where were you!" she cried, throwing herself onto him.

seungmin suffocating from her hug, she let go. kissing his forehead and squeezing him once again.

"I—I was taken by child services." he shortly explained. "my father is in prison now and I'm living with my therapist mr. yang, he has a son that goes to jyp academy so it worked out well for me."

"that's great sweetie! oh how we missed you so much!"

"mom! it's like you like my boyfriend more rather than me!" hyunjin whined from the side lines.

seungmin and his mother both chuckled, "oh come here you big baby. he's back so show him some love and affection okay?"

"I know, I will be."

"that's good. I taught you well." she smiled, wiping her tears. patting both hyunjin's and seungmin's head, she looked at the time. "what do you boys want to eat! anything, I'll make it doesn't matter!"

"it's okay mrs. hwang I'm not really—"

"oh no seungmin. It's really nothing!"

seungmin shook his head, "it's a very kind offer, but I'll have to go home soon anyways. thank you."

the older nodding, she tried to calm herself. "of course, it was great seeing you again seungmin. I hope you're doing well."

"I am, thank you."

hyunjin and seungmin then walking upstairs. hyunjin threw off his school bag and sighed. "it's been a long day, hasn't it minnie?"

"yup." as seungmin dropped his bag, running to jump onto hyunjin's bed. "I missed you a lot jinnie. I thought about you every single day when I was gone."

hyunjin blushed, "same with me. you were always on my mind. in fact." he then began to walk over to his balcony door. opening it, he showcased seungmin's balcony.

there was a puppy plushie. a couple letters, different bouquet of flowers and candle that was unlit. "I kinda went overboard. it was to where I'd just talk to your balcony even if you weren't there. I pictured you sitting there, smiling, singing. anything. I just wanted to see you again."

seungmin's jaw dropping from the scene, he teared up a bit. what did he do to deserve a boy like hyunjin?

"I—I don't know what to say.."

"you don't have to say anything. but please, just stay with me no matter what happens." hyunjin told, he walked over to seungmin and cupped both his hands together. "do you promise me that?"

seungmin nodded without any hesitation, crying into his chest. he felt loving in his body, more pouring in from the boy who held him. after years of being alone, he had found someone who wanted him for him. and would cherish him forever. "I have a present for you."

hyunjin going over to his desk, he grabbed a velvet box and smiled. opening it, he slipped a silver onto his finger. seungmin bawling ever more, he covered his mouth with his open hand. "j—jinnie. y—you didn't have to.."

"oh I had to." he chuckled, "you deserve the world seungmin. seeing what you've gone through, I'm never letting anyone hurt you again. physically, mentally all I want you to do is smile."

"t—thank you.." seungmin replied between his sobs. kissing hyunjin, he cupped the boy's cheeks together. smiling in between, he let go. whispering a small. I love you.

"I love you too kim seungmin." hyunjin then put one the matching ring he had. "I always will."

it started all because of two balconies that faced each other. a voice of an angel that attracted another. to then a boy falling in love with a broken soul. their love was extravagant, going through a maze just to find each other.

it was just because,

they were balcony buddies.

LONG journey writing
this book. it was fluffy and sweet
uwu. was it rushed? I don't know
I always think everything is
rushed !!

ships but I don't know if
anyone remembers I had a
story called Dorm 922 that was
suppose to come out

soooo watch out for that
story hehe
