°Chapter 22°

Scraping against the wall with what seemed like a sharp object, most likely a knife.The lights kept flickering as the evil figure kept coming closer and closer to accomplish his sick desires.Baekhyun looked up with empty eyes.He tilted his head to the side and snickered mockingly at the sight of the 'boss'.His desire to live drowned along with his heart.He drowned in sadness and betrayal.His tear stained cheeks shone faintly under the flickering light above his head.Nothing could shock or impress him.He couldn't feel anything.He just waited patiently for the nightamare to end.No one cared for him, so why fight back? Why bother? Why?

"I see you accomodated to this.I must admit that you look quite funny right now.So pathetic" Jaehyun snickered and covered his mouth

"Just get it over it" Baekhyun urged coldly

"Eh?"

"Get it over with.I'm ready to die.Kill me"

"But it won't be fun.I want you to beg for your life" Jaehyun whined

"I don't want to live anymore.Just kill me.I've had enough of this shit"

"Let me guess..It's because Sehun hates you?" He smirked,angering Baekhyun

"Leave him out of this.Just kill me already you dumb bitch! Can't you see that I want to die? Just do it before I kill myself!" Baekhyun gritted his teeth

"So eager..okay..fine"

Jaehyun opened the door of the cage and allowed Baekhyun to step out of it, making sure that he doesn't escape.

"No need to hold me like that.I won't escape" Baekhyun rolled his eyes and dropped to the floor.He closed his eyes and waited patiently for his death.He could feel the cold blade of the knife against his pale neck, scraping softly at first, but the intensity grew making the vampire hiss in pain.It was okay though.He wanted this.He didn't regret anything.This was his choice.He had to face it.

Suddenly, Taeyong's loud scream echoed in the hallway making Jaehyun halt.Baekhyun opened his eyes to discover Jaehyun laying in his own blood and Sehun stepping over his body.Taeyong's cries ceased which probably meant that he also died.He looked at Sehun incredulously before tearing up once again.He began sheding tears of joy at the sight of Sehun.He desperately wanted to jump on him and squeeze the life out of him.Sehun grinned, ruffled his black hair and carried Baekhyun over his shoulder as they exited the abandoned warehouse.

"S-Sehun! What?! How?! When?! How did you-"

"I'll explain when we get home" he smirked and ran at full speed

When they arrived at Sehun's house, Baekhyun quickly shoved Sehun inside and began interrogating him sternly.

"Explain, Oh Sehun"

"Well..First of all, his potion didn't affect me at all.I just played along in order to gain his trust.It was all a strategy to take him down once and for all.I acted like that towards you so that he could believe me.It hurt so damn much.I never felt so shitty in my entire my life.I should have told you sooner, but your reactions needed to be believable.I'm so sorry, Baek" Sehun whispered

Baekhyun stood there with widened eyes,unable to process the previous informations.He shouldn't have doubted Sehun.Not even for a second.Now he felt like an asshole.He couldn't help but run towards Sehun and wrap his arms around him.He cried silently in his shoulder for what seemed like forever,until Sehun tilted his chin upwards and made eye contact with the smaller, wiping his tears, lovingly.

"Don't cry anymore, okay? It's all over now."

"I'm sorry for doubting you, Se.."

"No..don't apologise.If I was you, I'd probably do the same thing so don't feel bad about it." Sehun smiled warmly and wrapped his strong arms around Baekhyun's small frame.

Baekhyun smiled and moved closer, enjoying the gentle touch.

"I love you so much, Baekhyun"

"Me too, love"

"And I'm sorry."

"You better be.I still hate you for making me give up on living"

Sehun brought their faces closer and pulled Baekhyun into a sweet, passionate kiss, making him sigh dreamily.

"Am I forgiven now?"

"Yeah..you're forgiven"
