Alexis POV
It was a beautiful morning. The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and a soft calming breeze rushed through the open window. I slowly but gracefully rose from my bed to close the window and start my amazing morning.
Not.
In reality I jolted awake scared thanks to my very annoying and loud alarm clock, which I threw at a wall when I couldn't get the thing to shut up. The sun was blaring straight in my tired eyes and birds were fighting outside of my window. I had forgotten to close it last night so the freezing cold wind filled my room. As I attempted to get out of bed my foot got caught in the blanket, causing me to fall flat on my face. What a great start to a terrible morning, it's bad enough that it's 6:00 am and the first day of school. After untangling myself from my sheets I started getting ready for school. I chose a simple but cute outfit. (A/N outfit above or below) I let my naturally curly blonde hair rest on my shoulders and ran downstairs for a quick breakfast. Since my parents were both already at work and my older brother is away at college I was the only one home at the moment.
Noticing the time, I ran outside after grabbing my car keys and phone and left to school. Normally I would pick up my best friend, Sam on the way but her dad is driving her today. Every year he drives her on the first day, it's tradition.

Hi! I'm so so sorry it's so short but I needed to get something posted and Im having some troubles right now. I'll try and update as soon as possible and with a much much much longer chapter. I promise as the book goes on I'll update more and have chapters longer than 1 page 😂
