by the look on jenna's face she was confused. like why would jonah stock up for someone has been giving him crap for the past couple days. it made no sense. "jonah-" mr. marais hands formed into fists and anger going through his whole body. mr marais did something he swore he'd never do. he walked up to jonah looked him in the eyes and punched him. jonah fell on the floor.
"GET. OUT" mr. marais screamed as mrs marais and jenna looked scared for their lives. jonah got up and left. mr. marais went downstairs to his room and mrs marais stood there in shock
"m-mom" jenna stuttered. mrs. marais looked at jenna sitting on the floor, so she went to jenna and hugged her "m-mom" jenna repeated
"shhhh. jenna it's going to be ok. jonah will be ok. you dad will be ok too. we thought this would never happen" mrs marais said trying to calm herself and jenna down
"n-no mom. i-i did it" jenna finally gets out. mrs marais looked shocked. mrs marais looked at the hole and back to jenna. she did that for a good 30 seconds.
"jenna. did you actually"
jenna nodded. she looked disappointed in herself. mrs marais got up and left. jenna just sat there. that was what the rest of there night went. none of the marais's had a nice home cooked meal. none of them had a family conversation after dinner. none of them watches tv together. the house was quiet. like nobody lived there.

jenna watched the sun rise. she got no sleep whatsoever. the alarm for her to wake up. so she got up and decided to get ready for the day. well she still has to still go to school.
finally when she was done with showering and putting on the comfiest clothes she could find. aka jonahs sweatshirts and sweatpants. since she didn't have a boyfriend to take clothes from so she stool jonahs stuff. so.
the alarm for her to leave goes off. she grabs her bag waits at the bus stop. the bus comes and gets on the bus.
the bus got to school. jenna walked off seeing zach jack corbyn and daniel. not jonah. she also didn't see alexis. so she just walked into the school the day went by so so so so soooo slow. lunch bell rang. jenna's hoping and praying that jonahs at school. she gets to the lunchroom. sees jack corbyn zach and daniel. jenna collapsed. zach saw her in the corner of his eye. he saw jenna fall he got up as fast as he could and ran to her.
"jenna?"
"jenna?"
"jenna? what happened" zach said.
"he's gone. i don't know where he is" jenna mumbles
"who? your dog? your cat?" zach asks
"no zach! jonah! so much shit happened last night and my dad told jonah to leave and he left. i don't know where he is. i don't know if he has his phone. i don't know anything"
"shhhh. jenna. it's ok. he's ok. jenna. jonah just needs a break ok?"
zach and jenna just say there for the rest of lunch.

a week has passed. still nothing from jonah. it's now wednesday. jenna got very little sleep and barely ate. for someone she's mad at. she's worried sick. alexis currently has the mono and well cant go to school. ha! mono the kissing disease who has she kissed.
jenna was halfway through the day. but it's now lunch time. the worst time because she just sits on the floor with zach. hoping jonah will show up. but nothing. jenna sees that zach is not where they sit. jenna looked up saw him at their table. and she saw jack corbyn daniel. wait. and jonah. he was there. jenna ran to jonah and gave him the biggest hug. she didn't want to let go because a very small part of her thought that he killed himself. but after literally 2 minuets of hugging. jenna let go and saw that jonah and a black and blue cheek right where he was punched.
"jonah" jenna said while sitting next to jonah not really caring bout the other boys.
"what happened. where did you go. why didn't you tell me your ok. why did you take the blame." jenna said
"jenna. i need to protect you. it's my job as your brother to make sure you don't have to go through what i went through. ok? and nothing really happened i went somewhere to get my mind off things. and well i didn't bring my phone. but it's ok. i'm here i'm going home today and i won't leave you. ok?" jonah said. as the other boys ate their food. jenna hugged jonah again. zach was very happy to see jenna happy and jonah back. but it's weird that the two are getting along now. but hey, they are siblings. all siblings fight.
the rest of the day went by very fast now because jenna knows that jonah is ok. the last bell rang and the two got to the car and drove home
they got to the house but jonah was scared out of his mind. the two got out of the car and went to the door. they walking anxiously waiting for the parents to come home.
hours pass. the parent finally arrive home.
