CHAPTER 01

LYRA'S POV

"I love you"I told him as I ended the call. Today was Monday and school is going to start soon. I tried to get up as much as possible.

I was brushing my teeth  when my phone rang. It was a call from my dad. I turned of my cellphone.

I don't want to talk to him right now. In short I hate him. My mother sacrificed EVERYTHING for him...and my dad? He just left her.

I quickly wore  my school uniform. I walked out of my room and go down stairs. I saw my mom watching TV.

"Going to school?" She asked me with her sweet voice.

"yes mom...."

"Just be safe okay?" she said as she smiled at me.

As I walked out I saw him.Alu . He told me that he will pick me up. And yes he is my boyfriend. 

"Good Morning" He said as he smiled at me. He was a very sweet person. Many girls are dying to get my place. They are very jealous that I have him.

I entered my classroom. Chase and I are not classmates so we had to separate our paths in the entrance. He was in the second building while my classroom is in the first building.

I sat down on my chair near the window. As Miss Chaney our English teacher entered the class. While listening, my phone buzz.  It was Alu.

A:hey

L: shouldn't you  be in class right now?

A:uhhh yeah but sir Fritz just left early

L:ohhh

"Okay, class are now dismissed. It seems that I have an emergency meeting to attend"Miss Chaney said. The whole class started to go out of the classroom. I saw Alu entering the classroom. He kissed my forehead.

"oops no PDA in school" I told him as he smiled at me

"We are just alone so it's not public" he said and pat me on my head."Shall we go?"he asked me.

"sure"

While walking I heard whispers of jealous girls.

"why her?"

"I am much more prettier than her"

"She's so annoying"

Alu already tried to stop them but they are still continuing. No matter how hard we try we can't stop the people who are pulling us apart. We were dismissed already so Alu and I decided to go in the mall to meet up the others.

We were already at the mall. We were sitting at the food court then suddenly our friend Lorraine appeared.  She was holding a McDonald's paper bag. After that, she sat down in front of us.

"You two don't get love love infront of me" She said while laughing.

"why would we?"Alu replied and kissed me in my forehead.

"Yuck" Lorraine muttered.

We were still waiting for our other friend, Zero. We always do this if we have time. We saw Zero with a woman who is about the same age as us. Alu and I both looked into Lorraine eyes.

All you can see is sadness
