I had no idea where I was, or why I was there. All I knew was that falling down a hole, about to die. I saw the ground quickly approaching, and I braced myself for death. But it never came.
"Frisk, you idiot. What happened? You were gone for so long I thought you were... Wait. You're not Frisk!" The flower who caught me dropped me to the ground.
"Who the heck is Frisk?" I asked. "I'm Nora."
"The one who was supposed fall down that hole." said the Flower. "I-I need to go."
The flower popped back into the ground and I was left confused. I was still on the ground, so I got up and examined myself. A few scratches here and there, but otherwise I was fine.
"What a strange flower." I said, wondering what it was. I had seen plenty of monsters in my life, but never a flower monster. I surveyed the area. I was standing on a patch of golden buttercups, which annoyed me for some reason. The rest of the area was mostly empty, and there was an door with a strange symbol on it.
Suddenly, a monster walked through the door, and gasped when she saw me. She had warm reddish brown eyes, some features of a goat, and she was wearing a purple robe with the same symbol that the door had on it.
"Hello there little one." she said with a kind smile. "It has been a long while since a human has fallen down here. What is your name?"
"Nora!" I shouted, pleased to meet a friendly monster.
"I am glad you are so excited little one. Come with me." She lead me through the door and into a room with a strange tiles on the floor, and a switch on the walls. She stepped on the tiles in a particular order, and pulled the switch. The door opened. "The RUINS are full of puzzles, ancient fusions between diversions and doorkeys. One must solve them to get from room to room. Please adjust yourself to the sight of them." she said. We passed through the door.
We entered a purple room with a bridge. Shimmering, beautiful water flowed under it, and ivy lined the walls. "To pass through this room, you will need to trigger several switches. But do not worry, I have labeled them for you.
