For most of their life, Seventeen year old Tsuji Michi never cared much when it came to Genders, believing that it was merely just a label that Society had placed on everyone when they were born and are expected to follow the roles that their Gender came with.

Growing up, Michi had never been completely sure who they had been destined to be. They were not a Girl, nor were they a Boy, they didn't feel anything towards either Femininity or Masculinity, they were indifferent.

Machi would rough house with the Boy's, and would play house and dress up with the Girl's, but they never really had a set preference in anything. Call them a Boy, they'll answer to it, Call them a Girl, they'll answer to that as well. Dress them up like a Boy, they wouldn't care, they'd show off their new Graphic shirt with a Super hero on it,dress them up like a Girl, they wouldn't care about that either, they'd show off their new Graphic shirt with a Princess on it. Shirt and pants, shirt and skirt, or just a dress with pretty dress up shoes, Michi never cared.

Michi didn't care about getting dirty, nor did they care about those days when their Mother dressed them up pretty with bows and ribbons in their hair, by the end of the day their hair would be messy and the bows and ribbons would be somewhere lost at the Playground.

When Michi reached Junior High that's when some things started to change for them. They were getting poked fun at more than not, others would ask them if they were a Boy or a Girl and would react in a negative way when they got the answer "I'm neither".

Tranny.
Dyke.
Heshe.
Freak.
Weirdo.

The list went on and on with the names that other's had called them, but it never really bothered Michi, they didn't care about what others thought about them.

But when they reached High school, it got worst.

The teasing became more than just teasing, it became physical and verbal harassment. Being groped on their upper and lower areas, collar of their shirt being pulled down so others could peek down it, being shoved into both the Male and Female bathrooms, and the name calling became even more harsh.

The Teachers turned a blind eye to the bullying, and when confronted they just said that it was just children's play and children will be children, and that they shouldn't let it bother them. No harm no foul. Except there was harm, perhaps none that would leave any kind of Physical evidence, but what about the Mental and Emotional scarring?

Shortly after their Seventh birthday their parents finally decided to transfer Michi to a different school, in hopes of things getting better.
