"I want you all to work in partners for this project, I'm going to let you pick since it's nearly the end of the academic year, off you go." Mr Howards, my English teacher just finished telling us about as you can tell, a project to "end the year off right" I don't mind doing a project especially when you can pick your own. Just as always me and Lydia, my best friend since pre-school, gave eachother a knowing look and ended our mini communication with a smirk. "What does this shit have to be on, you don't tell us fuck all" Beau interrupted everyone's whispering as Mr Howards was messing on his laptop. "Mr Brooks, instead of using that disgusting attitude I suggest you speak politely to me and to the rest of your classmates, and speak in an appropriate manner. So would you like to rephrase that question?" Mr Howards has always been one to speak to us all politely, he was genuinely a nice teacher. "Okay pal, Would you mid telling us what this project is on so I can work my perfect little ass off for a good grade?" Beau sarcastically shrugged. What a douche, I swear if I was the principle of this school, I would drop his "perfect little ass" outside the school gates.
"Well since you asked nicely, it's going to be about what you want to do after you finish the school year." He gave eye contact to everyone, making sure we all go what he was saying to us. "The reason for putting you in pairs is so that your partner can talk to the rest of the class about your future path that you would like to take. This is an assignment to it is worth 40% off your final grade. I will be marking you on your listening, writing and speaking skills, so you better get thinking of where you want to be at." Mr Howards explained to us, I wrote down important notes, and raised my hand. "Sir? When is our deadline?" He raised his eyebrows at me and smiled "You have 3 weeks, so December 17th, the day before you finish, does that suit you all?" A murmur of yes' and head nods went along with the bell, signalling it was lunch. Thank god.
"Ey up Hastings watch where you're going!" Daniel Sahyoune. Beau's best friend. He wasn't as bad as Beau but he was still bad. "Shut up Daniel, you walked into me on purpose, go cling to Beau!" I snapped, even though he was an alright guy, he clung to Beau like a lost puppy and when they were together, they were like a joined force of manwhores. "Don't be so jealous Hastings, we all know you want a little bit of the dorito" Ah I was wondering when he would come along and butt in. "Beau, only a weirdo would refer to themselves as a crisp. You need help." I chuckled and walked to the main hall with Lydia soon following my lead.
"Bec, what did they want?" She motioned her head back whilst fixing her bag on her shoulder. "Oh you know, the usual comments they make." We laughed it off and made our way to our usual table where our best friend Holly was at with her boyfriend, Jai Brooks. Beau's brother. Jai was nothing like Beau, Jai was sweet, kind, caring, cool, funny. Basically the opposite of Beau.
