Marlene, Em's nice, she wouldn't try and take Dorcas from you even if they were together once. Just because she's your girlfriend doesn't mean you have to take her side on everything. Me and James had a fight only last week about whether potato smoothie would be nice and we disagreed but are better off for it. It's not a good relationship if you're scared to disagree
