Trigger Warnings: Assault and Mention of Sexual assault.

Bryce had been let out on bail pending his sentencing hearing, every moment he was stuck in prison he had one thought and one thought only, Clay Jensen.

Bryce knew he wanted to kill Clay for ruining his life, but how best to do it? He could have Monty, Marcus and Justin round him up to allow him to take care of the boy. But no he wanted a slow burn, he didn't just want to stop Jensen's life he wanted to destroy it so that even if he failed Jensen would never recover.

His family was extremely powerful and had a large reach, but even their resources couldn't save Bryce from the overwhelming evidence found in that room, the Polaroids and the camera from the clubhouse, Jessica with her underwear around her ankles, him with his pants undone with being at full attention and beating the shit out of Jensen and saying he wanted to kill him.

Bryce told himself that none of this would have happened had Clay not been there, and Bryce knew just where to press to really make it hurt and she was walking out of Monet's right now. A sadistic grin began to form on his face and the thought of Hannah crying out in pain from what he had planned was making him aroused. He couldn't get distracted but maybe he could have a little fun along the way, after all he could tell by the way she had looked at him before that she definitely wanted it.

Hannah kept feeling like she was being watched everywhereshe went today, she had even reported it to the school counselor Mr. Porter and the Principal, whom similar to the first timeline, did nothing to help the situation.

Mr. Porter had told Hannah that unless she had something real with evidence, had physically seen someone or had a name to give her that was following her there was nothing he could do and she would be best to move on but he could give her the office number that she could call anytime she felt unsafe on school property.

She was appalled at the suggestion of Mr. Porter she got up promptly after his suggestions and left his office, knowing full well that she had wanted him to chase her when she left the office to pry for more information and to show that he actually cared because she did have an idea of who was stalking her and he was recently out on bail.

None of this could be substantiated and unfortunately Hannah was left feeling scared and alone.

She wanted to find Clay, she wanted to tell him what she was feeling and how scared she was that someone was following her and worse that it was Bryce. The feelings were only getting more intense as the day was going on, until suddenly Hannah turned a corner and saw a couple jocks staring her down, she ducked into the nearby ladies room and everything went black as a black hood was placed over her head and she was knocked out.

Clay had been in captivity since after his morning gym class, he had been taken by surprise in the boys locker room from behind and even though he managed to get a few good punches and kicks in that resulted in some muffled pain noises he felt a bat hit the back of his head and everything had gone dark.

Clay had his good removed roughly and found himself face to face alone with Justin Foley inside the clubhouse, Clay was currently bound by his hands to a football boomer.

Justin spoke first with malice in his eyes, "Why couldn't you just leave it alone Jensen?"

Clay immediately turned to his once and future brother, his voice thick with pity and disappointment, "I can't believe you're still siding with Bryce after what he was planning to do to Jessica, I'm disappointed in you Justin."

"Don't fucking talk to me like you know me Clay!" He spat out his words at Clay as though doing so would absolve him of his sins.

He was cracking at the seams, emotion was becoming thick in his voice, Clay could see it happening and he knew this was his chance to reach him, "Justin, you think I don't know you but I do, I know how hard it has been with your mom and with Seth being around. I know you're struggling with your own drug and alcohol addictions, trying to fit in with all the rich popular kids. But I see you, I am your friend and I don't care where you came from I only care that you're a good person and you always try to do the right thing"
