Chapter 2 - A date?

~ BAYANIS POV ~

Our hug felt like it lasted for an eternity before I felt her body stiffening in my arms. I quickly released her and stepped a few meters back, When I looked up at her face it felt like I saw it for the first time and I hadn't even realized that...
She was beautiful.

She started blushing and simply said, "so do you want to record something sometime?" In this sweet voice that made her sound so innocent. To not seem like a weirdo for starring at her for too long I quickly agreed and told her I had to record something for cube right now so I couldn't hang around.

Smooth ditch her for cube.

I left the room with her standing in the middle of it and it seemed she had a slightly sad look on her face which almost broke my heart, almost.

When I got to my apartment I sprinted over to my room and leaped onto the chair, making it creek far to loud for my comfort as it rolled across the room. I opened up my desktop and checked teamspeak, I saw that Graser was on so I decided to poke him and give him a call.

He answered the call by saying, "Heeey BayaniDoooOoOoOooood" During our calls he always managed to make me smile and distract me from the things that were troubling my thoughts.

I hadn't replied yet and just as the silence was getting to an awkward stage I blurted out, "what happened between you and Kricken?" As soon as I said those words I instantly regretted it. What was wrong with me?!

There was an even longer pause until he finally spoke up, "why the sudden interest?" Those words made me feel like he was looking straight into my mind, pulling apart the information that held my small feelings for Sydney.

"Um, well," I stuttered, "I just never really heard the full story from you alone, you know?" I bit my lip as I waited for his reply, I really hated lying and what made it worse was that I was bad at it.

"Well, she was one of the first people I recorded with." He began, with an almost unnoticeable sad tone to his voice.

"As we both got more popular we wanted different things for our channels and she didn't really like the people I was recording with so she slowly started backing off from the group and in the end." His mic muted for a few seconds and then came back by finishing off his over shortened story "she left."

I knew he was leaving something out. I just had this strong feeling in my gut that there was far more to this story than what he was leading on.
And I'm the one who's going to get to the bottom of it.

**TIME WARP**

After Graser and I had finished talking and I had uploaded my cube episode I decided to go ask Sydney if she wanted to go out and get a drink or have some dinner somewhere.

(A/N in this story I'm basing it off UK drinking age, which is 18.)

It was only around 1pm so I guess that left her plenty of time to get ready. That is if she had no plans and wanted to go out.

As I walked over to her door I heard the faint sounds of her shouting at her computer screen which made me laugh as I knocked on the door. The faint shouting stopped and I heard her footsteps quickly walking and stop in front of the door.

As she opened the door she gave me a large smile and let me in.
"So Sydney, I just wanted to know if you're doing anything tonight?" I asked as I stepped into her freshly painted apartment. It was a light tint of rose which made her white furniture stand out.

She looked at me in a surprised way that made me blush, I tried to stop my face from reddening but it didn't work and she had obviously noticed because she looks to the floor and too blushed, a rosie pink color.

"That sounds perfect!" She looked me right in my eyes as she replied which made me put on this big goofy smile. "Do you want me to pick you up at 7:30?" She laughed at what I had said and told me "that's to early! Let's leave at 8" She had a bright sparkle in her eye which made me melt, just a little bit.

(A/N hope you enjoyed the chapter, it's a bit short but I'm really tired and it's late, so this is all I'll be getting out today.)
