I never fit in anywhere... at least that's what I thought "you're going to Camp Daydream" my mom says.
"Mom you know I'm shy!" I say surprised. "Well that's why you're going, you need to get out there instead of playing on your phone all day looking at a band you're never gonna meet" my mom says while putting her hands on her hips.
"Fine... when do I have to go?" I roll my eyes and look away "an hour" my mom says while handing me my suitcase. "You didn't tell me about this earlier!!!" I say surprised, "just pack" she walks out of the room and I get up and pack everything I need.
My mom and dad drop me off and say their goodbyes for FOUR MONTHS!!!! "Bye!" I say while they drive off.
I go up to the camp counselor and she shows me to my cabin "hi guys" I say shyly. "Hello I hear a voice say from on top of the first bunk, a girl voice "I'm Rose" Rose jumps down and shakes my hand "I'm Lexie" I say "you seem shy?" She says while looking me in the eyes "Yeah a bit... I don't really fit in anywhere..." I say while looking down.
"Well consider me as your first friend here" she says while smiling. Another person pops out from another bunk and shouts my name.
I recognize the voice! It's my best friend Trinity! "I wasn't expecting you to be here!" She says while running to hug me. "My mom forced me" I say laughing.
