I collapsed on bed, sobbing because of my new wounds and the new bruises I just got from him...

Everyone in school knew about the relationship, but not the abusing. They all thought we were a happy couple, which was totally wrong.

But, he broke up with me! That was the only good thing about today. But the beating...

"That little-" I had to stop myself from screaming the b-word out loud.

I layed, sprawled across my bed trying to calm myself from the activities today I just had, and then the breakup.

You'll find someone eventualy, someone who wont hurt you I told myself trying to calm my angering thoughts. No! All boys are idiot beaters, like father and now Steven, and so many other abusive males. I wont love ever again, but maybe... Just maybe, I can get my revenge on Him...

~Five Months later~

I grabbed my bookbag and put it around my next and let it hang at my side, with my hand rested on the big blue bag. I lifted the flap on it and checked to see if I had my books and homework, which I did, and that seemed to be a first this year.

I walked over to my tall mirror and looked me over. I was wearing a black shirt in pink letters which said Kiss 4 kicks. My jeans had gotten to holey for my liking, so they were cut up high, and became my favorite short-shorts, which I decided to wear today. I had only a small amount of blue eyeshadow on that matched my blue eyes.

So mainly, besides that eyeshadow, I wore no make-up. I didn't have any pimples or zits, I passed that time of my life. With my no pimples or anything, it made the guys like my appearance even more than the cheer squads', which I never understood why.

Like seriously, those cheerleaders were the populars, they looked perfect, and if I was a guy, I'd be all over those cheer-leaders.

Debating over if I should put my blond hair into a pony-tail or leave it straight down, I walked up the stairs from my basement, into the kitchen. My mom had left me a note on the white fridge saying,

Emily I wont be home again until Thursday. XOX ~Mom

P.S. The poptarts are on the table

I grabbed the note off the fridge and threw it away. She didn't really have to leave me these notes anymore, she goes off so much for buisiness trips, I feel like I live on my own.

I pulled out a chocolate fudge poptart from the box, and started eating it, not caring to put it in the toaster to make it hot, and tastier. I checked the clock and read 6:57.

Oh fudge.

Realizing I had to leave now to go out to the bus stop, I ran out to the bus as it pulled up. I lived about 30 minutes away from the school, when in a vehicle.

And it so happens that I don't have a car to drive, mainly because my mom hates me using her new car, So I take my bus, that usually comes between 6:55 to 7:00. I ran out and hopped into the bus, walking up the stairs and going to the back of the bus. I sat by my friend Chelsia who had raven black hair in a braid and she had beautiful brown eyes. She wore a short, light blue skirt with some dark blue swirls on it, and had a white tanktop on. I smiled at her in a greeting, and she returned the smile.

"Hey Emily, I don't care how much you kick me and how hard it is, I'll kiss you." A boy said next to me. I turned and looked at the guy.

"Conner, if you kiss me, I swear that you will not live to see another day." I threatened.

"OK sweetheart, but remember, I'm always here to kiss ya if you need it!" Conner replied with a smirk.

Conner was the flirt of the school. He has atleast kissed almost all of the girls at our school. I'm proud to say I haven't kissed him yet or fallen for him. Well, Chelsia and me haven't kissed him yet. I know all my other friends have kissed him.

I couldn't help myself but admire Conner's eyes. He had shining blue eyes with brown hair that seemed always messy, which I thought made him even more attractive.

I had to snap myself out of it and decided to look at what Chelsia was drawing.

She had a realistic sketch of a dragon, with her riding it. She also drew me with beautiful, cream, falcon-like wings.

I watched her carefully, drawing another person. I wondered if the person she was drawing from a vision, or just her imagination. She drew another person, umm boy, watching her and me fly, he was staring at me, and I was staring back. I was tempted to ask Chelsia if this mystery person was from a vision or imagination, but decided not too in a place others could hear.

Any-who, yes, Chelsia is different. She sees visions of what was happening somewhere else, or in the near future.

No one else knew about it but me.

Not even her parents knew, afraid they might disown her, because of her freakishness.

Well I found out in Jr High, back in 7th grade. One day at school, she sort of fainted when walking down the hall with me to science, and after a while, I finally got Chelsia to tell me why.

She told me about the visions she had been having, and told me about how she had one about her grandma dieing, which made her faint.

She usually doesn't see visions of death, and that was her first.

She told me that sometimes it didn't hurt, and other times she felt like a brick was thrown at her head.

I've always believed her since that day, because later that night, in 7th grade, she got the news of her grandma's death.

"Hey Chels, wanna hang at my house later today?" I asked Chelsia. "Sure" she simply replied, colouring with the coloured pencils she had gotten out from her white backpack.

The bus stopped and the students piled out, Chels and me going out last. The usual.

We walked into the school, and to our lockers as Nicole and Bailey came up to us. We four have been best friends ever since third grade, and here we are, as Juniors in Highschool, still as best friends.

Chelsia quickly stopped at her locker, and we all stopped with her, then headed to 1st hour.

----

I sat down in my spot in the back of the classroom, bored.

I hated science, but I still come instead of ditching school like the other 'first-hour haters.'

I was still bored out of my mind when he came over.

Steven.

"Hey babe. I'm thinking pizza tonight, my place." He told me with a boyish grin.

"Steven we broke up 5 months ago." I replied through gritted teeth.

"So? Forget about the past Em," he knew using my nickname would make me hate him more, but he didn't seem to care, "How bout' we start over."

I glared at Steven. The man I had my first kiss with, expecting sparks to fly, like in all the stories I used to read, but instead got nothing but many punches and got hit. "Go away looser." I half snarled at him. I tried to control my temper a bit more.

"But Em, we both know you still love me!" He smiled as he replied, sing-songily.

I took a look at him, at his brown eyes and hair, and slapped his face, then kicked him where it counts.

Ha! I'm pretty proud of it.

"EMILY! STEVEN! Principle's office now!!!" The teacher yelled at us, and Steven smirked at me through his pain, giving me a look that was anger, but satisfaction of his getting us in both in trouble.
