Amy sat back on her couch, sipping a glass of lemonade, thinking of what happened that night over and over again.
"NICK NICK NICK NICK NICK" it just keeps popping into her mind. She walked to her mirror and looked at herself.
"This doesn't mean anything" Amy thought "I'm just having one of those hey-i-just-met-you moments... I'll get over it soon, yeah."
Days later, school came.
Amy walked down the halls looking around, she suddenly bumped into a curly-haired guy: Nick. Her heart sped up.
"Hey, Amy." Nick smiled.
"Hey... Nick" Amy put her hair behind her ears "how are you doing?"
"I'm doing fine, how are you doing?" Nick asked, suddenly, the bell rang.
Amy looked behind her, students were rushing into their rooms.
"Do you want to go to class together?" Nick smiled.
"Yeah, sure." Amy walked beside him. As they walked into Ms. Georgia's class, Amy thought to herself : "FUDGE, I'M NEVER GETTING OVER THIS. NO, NO AMYYY. NO FEELINGS. THIS DOESN"T MEAN ANYTHING. OR---"
Nick put a hand on Amy's shoulder.
"You're thinking too much, Amy!" Nick chuckled.
"Huh?" Amy looked at him "oh, I was just thinking about the new project on Friday." Amy lied.
"Oh. Maybe these will help you think..." Nick pulled out something from his bag... a box of chocolates "I bought these for you."
"Thank you" Amy managed to say "how did you know I love chocolates?" she smiled.
"BOTH OF YOU! GET. TO. CLASS" a voice called from behind them, it was Mr. Hawks "or detention for a week!"
Nick held Amy's hand "let's get to class now, or we'll be cleaning the shrimp sauce stained cafeteria wall."
Amy's body felt warm "yeah, we really should" they went into their rooms.
